Your Reality Check, 15 Apr 2023Stop spreading fake just because you love Xiaomi deeply wit... morePersonally, I have never seen a phone in my hands that has good battery life.
I'm a power user and all of my phones have decently poor battery life.
My S20 Ultra only got about 4h of SOT when I owned it, my 11T Pro barely managed 5-6 hours etc etc.
Also, Cheap Xiaomi phones are really bad when it comes to reliability.
I have not had a single build quality issue with my 11T Pro or my 13 Pro.

Also you keep on ranting about how "build quality is light years behind Samsung" when in fact it's not.
I have the 13 Pro and I also had contact with an S23 Ultra and you really can't say anything about build quality, they're on par, personally I feel like the 13 Pro has nicer build quality due to the ceramic back and feels nicer in hand because of the nicer curves and not being boxy.

I have had both Samsung S23 Ultra and Xiaomi 13 Pro and even compared them in my YT Channel and the Samsung wins in all except for charging speed, which as I said, it gets compensated by the better SoT hours.

Also the build quality and QC of Xiaomi is light years beyond Samsung (and pretty much ALL of the other brands, as it's the worst) dude at my repair shop 75% of the phones we receive are Xiaomis with less than 1 year. That's why I don't sell Xiaomi directly to my clients... too many problems.

Abc, 09 Apr 2023Maybe u mean S23 Ultra. But still 13 Pro better.Samsung S23 Ultra wipes the floor with the Xiaomi 13 Pro in all aspects except for fast charge where it compensates with a much better SoT usage battery life. It's a fact.

Honor Magic 5 Pro also and iPhone 14 Pro Max also as well. Xiaomi 13 Pro is by far the most overpriced and worst price/quality ratio phone in Europe. It's a competitor for 700-800€ phones, 1.400€ is the biggest ripoff ever.

In fact the price of this phone in China is 700€ which is okay as that's the real price it deserves, but not double. That's why no one is buying this in Europe. Period and full stop.

Full stop.

Do you like to ashame yourself to the point to say Xiaomi is better than the best Android brands? I don't understand why do you put so much effort in boosting up Xiaomi to make it look better than it actually is. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is a good phone but it doesn't play on the best flagship league. Period. Everyone knows that. This is good as a competitor for the OnePlus 11 or the Motorola Edge 40 Pro, but not real flagships.

Leaking Oil, 12 Apr 2023I have a 13 Pro and I can confirm it's as bright as th... moreFake. There are literally dozens of comparisons / reviews out there, including a GSMArena one, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is actually far from the best in camera and it doesn't win in any single comparison. Even compared to 2022 phones like Vivo X90 Pro+ or Huawei Mate 50 Pro it's still way too far from them. Even in Dxomark ranks 20th and even if you cry saying "it's not reliable" just look at the images compared with other phones, it really shows it's inferior. It's neither the best in any single aspect. Now ice the cake with MIUI = bugs and bloatware.

And also in overall as a phone, this Xiaomi 13 Pro is even more far from the best. Compared to Samsung S23 Ultra, it has worse screen, worse audio, worse cameras, worse software, worse build quality and so on... And I have had both unlike some fanboys like you praising this phone just for their love to Xiaomi. And the battery SoT kinda sucks as well, almost 20h less in endurance rating compared to S23 Ultra. And if you want to praise the faster charge, do you have wall sockets and you always carry on your charger? Eitherwise it's better to have a certainly better battery performance. Full stop.

Unlike new accounts like yours are here to praise this phone or X5u anon location always write tantrums, I really have had both Xiaomi 13 Pro and Samsung S23 Ultra and tested both face to face (now I have Honor Magic 5 Pro) and I can clearly say based on own experience that comparisons don't lie and this 13 Pro is far from the best phones for photography and the overall camera setup ot overall specs are just lame compared to a S23 Ultra or a Honor Magic 5 Pro (despite Xiaomi charging for it 1.400€ in Europe) but if your argument to defend the trash MIUI is, their awful ISP that underperforms the 1" sensor or the 32mpx 1080/30 selfie typical for a 200€ midrange phone is to say "BuT iT CoMeS WiTh A cHaRGeR" sure bud, be my guest. Also the Dolby Vision is purely a marketing tag (completely useless, just as the Leica tag) but no desktop mode, disaster updates filled with bloatware and adware, USB 2.0 and so on... anything above 700€ for this phone is a ripoff.

Here in India it is priced very competitively, its priced at $850 dollars and S23 is $1523, almost double. And iphone 14 pro max is in $1600-1700 range.
So this is very sweetly priced, but IP68 is removed from the indian version which is fine. Overall build is great, a tad top heavy but manageable. Camera's are good mostly but images are not flashy like other phones, you wont love image at the first sight as the colour seems little dull and brightness is also less due to high contrast, but once you zoom and see the details you understand the quality of the photos. Actually for day to day users they would always prefer samsung or one plus as they produce punchy social media ready image but with 13 pro you will have to edit the image a little to attain that punch. Worst part is the UI/UX, still bloated, lot of unnecessary notifications from Xiaomi app store, theme store etc. Inconsistent menu options and bad software updates support. We are almost halfway in April but my phone still has security patch for January. And this is their flagship phone. I am expecting Android 14 when samsungs and one plus users start receiving Android 15.

Wanted to buy Vivo X90pro+ but it is not yet launched in India, so settled with 13 pro. Overall a good phone for this price, with some excellent camera hardware but need better software optimizations to create wonders.

I have to say, after seeing and holding this phone in person for the first time, the build quality is really solid. The in-hand feel is so, so much better than the S23 Ultra and 14 Pro Max. The curved sides are so smooth and comfortable to hold, unlike the unfriendly boxy edges of the aforementioned phones (this also makes the 13 Pro look a lot smaller than both of those phones, which is a plus).
Other than that, it looks wonderful.
Something I absolutely loved is that the camera island, while absolutely massive, has curved edges. This means that it isn't sharp and it melts into the frame, further lending to the comfort of the build. Contrast this to the unsatisfyingly sharp camera bumps on the S23 Ultra and 14 Pro Max. The curved screen also doesn't seem to have the glare/blur at the edges that most curved screens have when viewing straight on, which was pleasant.

Overall, kudos to the design team - this phone has a set a new benchmark for me in terms of in-hand feel! Now it's just the price that needs to be lower heheh!
