Thank you for a nice and detailed review about Xiaomi 13T Pro.
But I do not agree this phone scores 4.5/5. 4/5 would make more sense.
But that also partly due to the 4 years software support Xiaomi gives.
I own 10T Pro, which I consider very worthed for the price when it is released and huge changes over 9T Pro. Aluminium glass body, SD 865+, Excellent 108MP OIS Camera. All of these are flagship level offerings in terms of hardware at that time. The only drawbacks are it's still LCD with lower brightness compare to OLED and the software support in terms of security patch not good.
13T Pro on the other hand has Mediatek cpu which not as optimized as snapdragon, plastic body, basically no other upgrade other than camera from 12T Pro. Take the camera factors out, this even seems like downgrade compare to 12T Pro. Same goes with 11T Pro vs 10T Pro.
I really hope in the next iteration of "T" families, Xiaomi can give out one or two more features from flagship level such as curve display or wireless charging or same level of camera hardware as their top flagship or even similar build quality as flagship. No need all otherwise it will be called flagship but just more changes/upgrade over the current 13T Pro...

I really have no reason to upgrade maybe just to have 5G support and maybe some security updates cuz I use this phone heavily for banking.

The 512GB/12GB is sold for only EURO 543 or USD 572, the best bang for bugs, even better than the newer Samsung S23 FE. The only verdict here in my country, would be the Mediatek processor is not optimized for many of the game, thus has sluggish performance on gaming despite the processor and GPU is on par with Snapdragon counterpart, even Snapdragon 845 can outmatch Mediatek Dimensity in term of overall gaming experience. The rest, is up to your own choice. I might be skeptical and pick POCO F5 Pro for overall gaming experience, and left off the camera quality.

What are you going to do with the FM Radio and IPS Display, yes IPS Display is a lot durable than Amoled, but it's heaper looking and you cant even put Under Display Fingerprint. My 11t pro is still on November 2022 patch here in UK. It is impossible to trust xiaomi on their update claims.

ian, 03 Oct 2023Can you elaborate? My 9T (non pro) got bugged 3 months ago ... moreBy the way, I still have a working blue Mi 9T Pro, the 6gb/128gb variant, and it's still fine to this day (even the screen has no burn in).
It has some discoloration on the aluminum sides, which I still don't know how they appeared.
I'm thinking about replacing it with another Xiaomi phone, but I don't want a Poco, due to the terrible default launcher... I want a full MIUI, not MIUI for Poco.
So may end up replacing my phone with the future Poco F6 Pro/Xiaomi 14T Pro or Xiaomi 14 Pro, but the price increase has been a let down for the latter two.
There's also the Galaxy S23/24 Plus (the price, and heaviness of the Ultra, makes me prefer the Plus, even though I love the curvature on the display).
I've also thought about going to Pixel team, with the Pixel 8 Pro, or jumping ship to Galaxy Flip (any full size foldable is still out of reach).
There's also Realmi, but their software is a let down...
I just wish Xiaomi would release a new Flagship killer with a pop-up camera, affordable pricing and a cool design, like the Mi 9T Pro. (I would 100% rebuy it, in case of a rerelease with updated specs).
