It drains 30%-40% battery for 5 hours of gaming. For stock market it drains 15% to 20% battery for continuous use of Trading apps and multitasking. Without using camera and other apps. For trips it can last upto 12 hours by Mix use. Like social apps camera and musics navigation and all.

    During the day, I am using Bluetooth, location, lot of google maps guiding, calls, WhatsApp, ... and little navigating facebook.

Its not about th... moreExcept it does have to do with the phone, it's not about the image; you can try the image on a PC or even other phone models, the photo is totally fine. I didn't have that problem with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, and I have tried with other phones without an issue. I just discovered this with the Xiaomi 12. So you mean you visualize black portions of the image on your Xiaomi 14? another user had just answered before you, he didn't have any issue on his Xiaomi 14.

            Hi everyone,

            I post my question again in case it got lost between all the questions.
            Can someone please confirm if the visualization in 360 mode in the google photos app works fine (no black squares when looking around)? Please try the following image

            I hope someone can help. I ask this because I have the Xiaomi 12 and 360 visualization in google photos does not work fine and I am considering upgrading to the Xiaomi 14. Thank you in advance.

              [deleted post]You can switch between the main, ultrawide, and telephoto cameras while recording regardless of resolution. Shutter button should be present on all resolutions and both formats.

And one of the bugs (or feature?) i noticed is it cannot switch between camera modules whilst doing a recording. And some camera modes i found there is no camera shutter to take a photo.
                So, just to be a bit more precise... If i'm recording in 4K30 (in 4:3 or 16:9)I can switch from main to ultrawide then back?
                In 1080p60 (in 4:3 or 16:9) can I switch from main to ultrawide then back?
                And do these both formats have the shutter button enabled?

                  Gino76ph, 13 Feb 2025So, to be clear...are you able to switch between the main, ... moreYeah you can switch between all cameras without stop recording in 1080/30,1080/60, 4k/30. You can record 4k/60 in all cameras but without ability to switch.
                  Some apps you can't disable, but it possible by adb commands that's what I did. It's not required root, unlock or something else, only pc and cable.
                  About battery it's hard question. I am a heavy user. Typically if my phone shows 3.5 hours of screen time, the average user gets around 5.5 hours. With this phone it's something between 3.8-4.5 hours from 100 to 10 percent. Charging is very decent 30 min and you got about 80 percents

                    Yes. All the rear lenses are capable of up to 4K60 recording, and you can take photos while recording.

                    You can uninstall most 1st party apps. Get Apps isn't one of them, sadly, but you can disable the notifications from your phone's settings so the recommendations stop showing up.

                    Some of the 1st party apps like Security, Themes, and Mi Music have one or two in-app settings like "Show ads" and "Personalized recommendations. Disabling these in-apps settings will turn off the ads that show up while using those apps, but you will still get ad notifications, so you have to use your phone's settings and disable the notifications for these apps if you want to get rid of them.

                          My other choice is the OnePlus 13R. (Note: I currently have the Nord 3 w/ Oxygen OS 15)
                          But, part of me is saying i want a compact device similar to a Pixel 8/9 or Xiaomi 13/14.

I switched to it because I was tired of big smartphones. Pretty solid experience. If the budget allows you to buy the fifteenth version, then I would recommend to wait an increased battery and the ability to switch between all modules in 4K 60 FPS is a very nice improvement in my opinion.

                              I currently have the Nord 3 for a few days now and i think i'm done with large phones. The ideal phone size i think is a Pixel 8/9 or a Xiaomi 14/15.
                              And is it worth waiting for the global release of the Xiaomi 15? Or get the 14 now whilst it's on the cheap?
                              TBH I have never considered the new Galaxy S25 series as they remain very expensive to me. And updates have been incremental. I'm happy to be proven wrong.
                              S24 FE perhaps?
