HyperOS doesn't support Android's Material You theme, therefore there is a bunch of color inconsistency. You can change the colors used by the apps by changing your wallpaper, or by using LWP+ (app on playstore) which can basically trick android into using a certain color scheme while allowing you to have a wallpaper of your choice.

Using this for a fortnight now and I am starting to like this phone. Only issue I noted is about the native Music Player app. Musical notes played through this app resulted in distorted output even in low volumes. Uninstalled the updates and the app now seems to behave normally. Camera takes in balanced and vibrant images and performs equally well in low light too. I haven't yet faced the camera fogging problem and lens flare doesn't play a spoilsport. Battery performance is acceptable. Overall the phone has been a good buy for me.

I have a dark theme set on my phone, but some applications are black and yellow, chrome, google, messages, calls.... can it be changed, so that it is still dark, but black and white??

Bad old interface hyperros is jist hype no such change from miui 14 in cheap phone of redmi poco and xiaomi
Dialer/contacts/message are from Google which is very pathetic.
Xiaomi didn't bother to add its own dialer/contacts/message app in hyperos. They took so long in developing hypeeos.
If you launch in flagship prices you pu should keep it separate from budget series phones.
Display is not good.
So far camera is solid
Performance is solid
Would love if display is alao boxy no roundish corners which bother in full screen content
Also adding keyboard is also from google board which is also very bad

Had mine for a week with no issues and loving it . Now I have got used to the smaller size it's brilliant to hold. Had to go for a white one because jade green was sold out . Got it with the Mi pad 6 free gift and the extra £100 trade in so bit of a bargain. This is my 6th Xiaomi flagship (I keep them for 2 years), they have all been faultless and just keep getting better

proUser, 26 Mar 2024512gb storage and 518 usable?From what I understand there is 512+32GB of storage but the 32GB are invisible reserved for some storage instructions or something. Xiaomi optimized it so it only uses 16GB and uses the other 16 GB as additional user storage and since the OS takes up 9.2 GB you get
512+16-9.2 = 518.8 GB
for the 256 model it reserves 16 and xiaomi gives you once again half of that

For large files 256GB marketed how to be enough when sy... moreThis phones OS takes up 9.2GB and you get 256+8GB or 512+16GB of storage so you get 254.8 or 518.8GB usable storage here, not to mention it's great high speed storage. The only practical use for an sd card here is to take it out and put it somewhere else to acess the data, but if you have a computer thats also moot because you can just plug the phone in.
