Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro appear on Geekbench with 16 GB RAM
Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will be introduced later this week, and the phones already appeared on Geekbench. Both the vanilla and Pro variants will have 16 GB RAM in at least one of their variants and will ship with Android 14 out of the box, which will be the base for the new HyperOS.
The Xiaomi 14 went through Geekbench 5, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro ran Geekbench 6. These benchmarks are pretty different, so the results cannot be compared with each other. Nevertheless, we can compare them with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered phones to see the performance increase.
The Xiaomi 14 is about 20% more potent in multi-core performance, compared with the Xiaomi 13 we reviewed, while single-core is about 5% better. Similarly, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is about 20% faster than the Xiaomi 13 Pro as per our tests.
The listings also reveal once again the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor – 1x3.30 GHz Cortex-X4 + 3x3.15 GHz Cortex-A720 + 2x2.96 GHz Cortex-A720 + 2x2.7 GHz Cortex-A520. We did hear that the Cortex-A720 units might be in one big 5-core cluster, but we'll have all the final details tomorrow during the Snapdragon Summit.

Extra 8gb ram doesn't means you have more ram the more you get is storge based ram not real ram addition, so there's no boost in overall performance.
