- Update to the latest HyperOS version
- Restart your phone
- Get rid of as much of the pre-installed bloatware as possible
- Optimize your phone using the Security app --> Cleaner
- Settings --> Additional settings --> Memory extension --> Off
- Settings --> Apps --> Manage apps --> Background autostart. Then disable Background autostart for apps that you don't use often.
- Uninstall potentially power hungry apps you don't use frequently.

The same goes true for SD 7+ Gen 3 powered phones like the Realme GT 6T and OnePlus Nord 4 - both of which are equally powerful phones like the Poco X6 Pro, but can't take very good photos, making them unsuitable for photographers.
Also, "next"? If you don't care about this phone and you aren't going to buy it, then don't bother commenting.

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2024Poco phones have a different launcherLet us not fool ourselves but the only difference between the vanilla HyperOS launcher and Poco launcher are the icons. Go deeper into the UI and customizations and you'll notice that they're one and the same. No perceptible difference at all save for the app icons.

So it's basically just a X6 Pro with upgraded cameras with worse thermals for TWICE the price? Not even a metal frame. Just get a SD 7+ Gen 3 device in this price class. Next.

The UI stutters is really evident considering that I already dialed down the animation to .5x from the default 1x under developer options. Really disappointing for flagship-grade specs and it is almost always warmer than normal even if I am not a gamer.

Techgg, 04 Oct 2024get the xiaomi ,it's better value Better value? Very subjective issue but the 200 Pro is a better overall specs-wise and won't have any thermal issues. Plus the battery life of the 14T is very similar to the X6 Pro which is not so good. Don't be fooled by the Leica branding too the 13T in my actual experience is mediocre regardless of what the reviewers say.

Anyone, should I go for this (Xiaomi 14T 512gb) for $490 USD or go for Honor 200 (256gb) at $450 USD.
Currently I'm using a 7 years old huawei phone. I value the battery life, the UI, performance over years. thats it.
