Xiaomi life spam is very small imagine a premium phone like this have only 4 years of major updates. While Samsung S24/25 is giving 7 years of major updates imagine A26 is supported with 6 years of major updates that's amazing

Jhonlabu , 04 Mar 2025So just buy midrange hp which you can pay. Flagship just no... moreThis is not a flagship. You can only have one flagship and that's 1500Euro. I'm surprised people have yet to come with the concept of midrange flagship. Also, when you finding excuses for the "flagship" price goes up for everyone, including yourself. You'll be paying 2000Euro for the "flagship" in 3 years, the actual flagship will be 2700 and midrange will be 1100 so I'll just stick with my old phone and I'll get good at custom roms.

Might as well unlaunch it, the price is ridiculous. Guess I'll keep my old phone forever.

There's a lot of arguments here about value; but in reality, not too many people will buy (average people will just be sheep, and go for an iPhone or Sam-) a phone from less popular brand.
Only geeks like us will be interested in specification sheet on paper and may purchase one.
Then real user experience will be less impressive.

Gino76ph, 03 Mar 2025I am on the verge of selling my old Google Pixel 8 128GB. ... moreProbably Samsung is a better choice because those two are good, but with Samsung, you get 7 OS updates compared to 4 OS updates on Xiaomi.

Gino76ph, 03 Mar 2025I am on the verge of selling my old Google Pixel 8 128GB. ... moreThe pixel is a good phone with many years of software support but the performance is terrible and its basically just an android iphone, the s25 is just meh and the xiaomi 15 is pretty good, what you should do is go for older flagships like the s23 ultra, iphone 14, oneplus 12 or a magic 5 pro

I am on the verge of selling my old Google Pixel 8 128GB.
One of my potential choices are Pixel 9, this Galaxy S25 (base model) and the new Xiaomi 15 (Global edition) 256GB..all of which has at least 12GB RAM and UFS 4.0 and all as compact phones.
As an investment which is the "best" and "logical" choice in terms of better speakers, performance (not with benchmarks but everyday mundane tasks / opening & closing apps, etc.), a better screen and a better camera system than my Pixel 8?

I would prefer if they made i... moreIf people still buy similarly sized Samsungs and iPhones with every storage option costing way more than the highest spec Xiaomi 15. I think there's value in a small phone like this. That being said, wish there was a midrange option for a "compact" phone. Everything but with a SD 7 series processor.

I think it's overpriced. I would prefer if they made it cheaper instead of bundling a tablet with it. I'd like the phone to be 350 cheaper instead. Nobody wants to pay a grand for these phones. Especially since the value of these phones drops by almost half after a year of ownership. They aren't worth the high prices Xiaomi trying to sell at.

Xiaomi 15 is definitely an iterative improvement to the 14 but that's not a bad thing.
Longer battery life and general performance boost will be noticeable and appreciated by most.

In the UK price starts at 899 but that also includes 120w charger and a tablet (Xiaomi Pad 7). You can get 10% off with a voucher making the phone 810. If you don't want the tablet, you can easily sell that for 200 which effectively makes the price of the phone 610. That's a great price already. But Xiaomi is also providing a guaranteed 100 trade in discount. 610 - 100 = 510. That's a fantastic price!
