I got just got battery replacement few month ago and i have to say this xiaomi is drinking lot of battery. On 4G i have to charge like 3 time a day. But performance and speed is still good. Only battery is the problem

0pointers, 21 May 2024After updated to hyper-OS, can't stand for 1 dayYeah, I changed original battery after 4 years, and new one was good at the beginning, but now after update not so much. I see that software is main problem, they are not earning money on Mi 10 users so they ruined our battery. But one of the best phones ever, after 4 years works so smooth and fast, camera is still better than most others phones, very satisfied with this phone.

Recently got new hyper-OS update.
This phone still amazing for dialy driver in 2024 but the problem after update is just the battery life.

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2023There are several issues with this unit in Indonesia to con... moreget into fastboot mode and flash using xiaomi flash tool using fastboot method. first download miui latest fastboot rom, and flash using the software. you should prepare for current xiaomi account and password on the mi10, it will be needed for accessing the phone after finish flashing rom.

There are several issues with this unit in Indonesia to consider before even trying this phone:
1. Stuck at MIUI 12: As of December 2023, the device is still stuck with MIUI 12 which means still on Android 10. Flashing is not possible either due to bootloader lock unless you unlock the bootloader manually (which requires data wipe beforehand)
2. No proper 5G and VoLTE connectivity support: Due to the outdated MIUI version, mobile operators in Indonesia do not provision this device to support 5G and VoLTE connection. The phone actually can detect both technologies being available, but the phone cannot connect to both technologies due to carrier-side restrictions.
3. Screen and battery problem: On the first year or two of using the phone, the battery got swollen and it was got replaced. Recently, the screen has started showing dead pixel lines until since yesterday a bright green pixel line started showing on the screen. I suppose the hardware quality had gotten compromised due to unknown causes, it could be either from manufacturing defects or from careless usage.
Since not much people own this phone in Indonesia, I could assume this phone was not originally intended to be sold here. Probably just a few batches of this series had gotten imported to this country, causing lack of proper support from the Xiaomi team. Overall, Xiaomi is still a good brand to consider buying since my other Xiaomi phone (Xiaomi 11T) is still working great even after heavy usages and is still getting proper support. I also suppose this phone has much better support in other countries such in China and India. However, if you are in Indonesia I would not recommend getting this phone due to the lack of proper support.
