Last week I purchased this phone and I found that the GPS is not connecting to Google Map as well as the Waze app. I sent the data log to Mi support team and I didn't got any response yet. The issue reported to Authorized service centre here in Qatar and their response also not fair, Secondly they also dont know how to interact with customers.

AnoM, 15 Jun 2020I think what he mean is stop whining on smartphone price an... moreI do think the phone is priced fairly for what it brings and among it's competition. I've loved it's battery backup and speakers, not to mention the fast performance and the very good main camera. I agree with you. If xiaomi hadn't made these many improvements from last year I wouldn't have even considered it.

I do agree with him that someone should just have to work out to get what they want, instead of complaining the price is expensive.
I think we all should appreciate what Xiaomi smartphone is offering as they have try their best to cut down the cost, by offering as much as they can.
They are no longer as cheap as their previous generation, but they do add in more premium feature for the current generation.
I think if Xiaomi release a bare smartphone without these extras, still sold at relative low price, there will still have peoples complaining why Xiaomi smartphone never has improvement without checking or comparing the price.
These are marketing physiology where 50% people will happy with the low cost, 50% people will complain for the lack of features, such as the small battery capacity.

Ron, 05 Jun 2020I have Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro and I really don't see any improvem... moreThere are definitely improvement if you cannot see it.
Mi 10 has upgrades that is justifiable with the extra price, but these are nothing for you if you cannot see it.
Mi 9T Pro is more than enough for you. Nobody is forcing someone to upgrade their smartphone yearly.

Nobuddyhere, 12 Jun 2020All those who whine about price - get a job! Stop being a b... moreDifferent people have different circumstances. It's not about affording the 1000 pounds but justifying 1000 pounds for the same phone. I've been using the MI 10 and I think it is good but that doesn't mean that it is not an expensive purchase. People who are not familiar with the brand will go with tried and TRUE Samsung or apple or even oneplus and they are good phones too. Those who don't want to spend so much on a phone will go with something cheaper and that's up to them too. If you spend 1000 on this phone you must be having a mi 10 pro so this isn't your forum in the first place.

callmecatarina, 03 May 2020The price is so outdated. You can easily find it for 600-70... moreAll those who whine about price - get a job! Stop being a bum who quibbles over a silly 1000 bucks. If you can't afford 1000 bucks for example then you have serious issue in your life and buying a phone should not be on your list of things to do unless it's under a 100 bucks just to make and receive calls.
Seriously people - why do people have to gripe about a price thats relatively small for a product you spend more time using than anything else in your life
I cant stand people demanding stuff and complaining about price when all the have to do is be a grown up and chase s decent job. 1000 bucks is nothing there days

Chap1, 04 Jun 2020Had- have almost every brand- mostly flagships so in short-... moreAre you serious? Having owned 4 yes 4 outlets that sold mobile phones brand new and second hand I must say that Huawei make great phones. Of all the phones I could use and have access to free from the OnePlus 8 to the Apple 11 pro max to LG ThinQ -
I am still using a "modified" Huawei Mate 20 pro with 8 GB's of ram and 256gb storage using the old Kirin 980 (tweeked so my cortex A76 cores are running at 3 GHZ instead of 2.6ghz)
This phone is still running smoothly, Never had a problem at all always have around 3.5gb ram available from the 8gb and that with antivirus running and VPN always.
Huawei make solid phones that don't break down and don't go wrong. So I don't see how you're saying this company doesn't make good phones.
Brain-dead.

I have this phone, I've used it for an extended period of time. This phone rocks in most categories. However, the resolution is a bit low for this size and you can notice (not even pixel peeping). The second thing I didn't like was the audio quality regarding the headphones and a lack of a system wide eq that works with all headsets (the stock one works with some xiaomi sets). The speakers are brilliant, the speed is grand. Battery is above average but nothing grand given that it powers a 90Hz display.

I have Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro and I really don't see any improvement with the Mi 10, sometimes even the opposite (e.g. Mi 9T Pro has better PPI than Mi 10).
The differences between the two don't worth the money.
Xiaomi is supposed to cheap and good enough.
This phone is not.
