Besides what kind of update they... moreI'm getting exactly the same screen on time with the brightness set to 75% on either of the new roms, compared to the 50% brightness setting on the original rom, because the brightness is the same, or near as damn it (I've not actually measured it)
Battery drain will be determined by how bright the screen actually is, not on what the slider, or percentage is set to.

Besides what kind of update they have rolled to.the mi 10 devices that reduces the screen brightness quite significantly..it is annoying...they need to fix this asap

I don't use automatic brightness, and had it set to 50%.
After the update the screen was much darker, so its now set to around 75% for the same brightness.
I can't see what the problem is though unless your saying 100% is darker then before.?

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2020Seems absolutely fine, and no different to the previous romWhen i got 12.0.3 update,my phones brightness got reduced significantly and this issue still hasnt been fixed..even tried a factory reset but no good.
Some other people complained about it in mi forum

just buy it, for low price 499€ and get my old phone 171€ so total cost for me was 328€
i say good.
anyway, i except alot battery life, good bright screen,allraound cam and fast charge.
..welll all gone top, just i except,happend.
i really see for now anyhting negative,except looks my old samsung wireless charger not enough it,but its incoming charge is super fast! so its ok.
also safety updates work good, phones last safety update coming end of november.
MIUI works fine and is better i think, ok indeed.
screen is bright, and also different from 60hz to 90 hz i cant say.
my opinion is that those screen trend for higher and higher screen hertz is useless and only be good for battery maker....well, might 120hz max is ok, not more!!!!
i use now 90 hz, but i use long time 60hz, cant see any different normal day using.
excellent phone!

Snowlax, 13 Dec 2020go for oneplus 8, it seems has the most stable fps ingame a... moreThe thing is, oneplus isnt officially in my country yet so its price is way out of this price range. Also I cant claim the warranty since there arent any official stores for OnePlus. I never used AMOLED and HRR before and i want to experience both at the same time, so i think im going for the mi 10. Currently upgrading from a Xiaomi A1, so its gonna be a huge upgrade for me.
