Can anyone confirm or deny if this phone has an sdcard slot or not? There is a video on YouTube comparing this with another Xiaomi model and it says that this one has a dedicated slot...

I moved from a Mix 2S and this phone is genuinely the goods. It hasn t skipped a beat performance wise and the battery holds well for a full day with plenty of Spotify and youtubing. Cameras are still good and unless your a camera nerd you'll love how simple this phone is. In screen fingerprint scanner easily shits on Samsung's options. I'm in Australia and works 0erfectly on telstra 4gx.

It's just very weird. Why even announce a 8/256 version, if they're only selling tiny quantities of it? Meanwhile, other Xiaomi phones can be found in pretty much all memory configurations, from what I've seen.
Could it be a marketing move to force people to pay extra and get the Mi 10?
Also, could someone who has the Mi 10 Lite 5G please post here how much of the RAM is free for the user, out of the 6 GB available (in the 6/64 and 6/128 version)?

The one that you are talking about must have been the chineese version, so who knows how long it's going to take until the global version gets released. I'll have to settle for the 6/128 version, unfortunately.
Xiaomi should have released the 8/256 version first, then the 6/128 and only then the 6/64 one. Give customers more RAM and storage.

They sold all stocks in less than 2 hours online. This phone is so good for it's price that it's even more bang for the buck than the Redmi Note 9 Pro Global.

That Snapdragon 765g & 5G plus it's better display make it more worth it than the Note 9 Pro. I have the Redmi Note 9 Pro and I'm content with it but that better specs for a very small price difference makes me wish I bought this instead.

No custom roms, no community support, nothing. It seems like no one even knows about this phone. I got it for €310 from UniEuro shop in Italy so I don't complain about the price, but it's very weird and frustrating for a Xiaomi phone to not to have any custom roms.
