At providers and belsimpel the mi 10 is being sold for weeks now. + why would xiaomi nl lie in their comment?

PabloHerrer, 17 May 2020Thank you!!!! I thought it would compatible with Wifi 6...Since the Snapdragon 765G DOES support Wi-Fi 6, Xiaomi might add support for it with a firmware update. Unlikely, but you never know!

Xiaomi are very secretive about this model and they apparently don't care about it or the potential customers. All their marketing goes to the Note series and Redmi sub-brand. I don't understand why would any company announce a phone if they don't market/sell/support it.

I get 60 to 100mbps in my house on fibre and I'm general on the 2.4hhz spectrum and not the 5ghz. WiFi 6 is really more about improving bandwidth rather than actual speeds so I think business will benefit greatly from it but in a household with a maximum of say five devices running concurrently, WiFi 5 is more than adequate. Very few devices will support WiFi 6 at this stage and it's not just having the devices to support it, you're also going to have to upgrade to a new compatible router and they're likely to be expensive at first.
