I have a question. I want to switch from iOS to Android but can’t decide which phone to pick. Xiaomi phones are really good when it comes to the price but I heard people saying their phones die for no reason or get destroyed after updates.
Is this a common problem or the problems happen with the Indian versions not the Global versions?

Please I am having challenges sending sms on my Xiaomi mi 10t Lite while I can conveniently receive sms but can't send a text message and I have checked the message settings including the message center number and all seems to be fine but just can't send sms. Anyone with likely clue to resolve this

And when you planned to upgrade on other device will it be xiaomi again or some other.

For example "India" gets updates very early. Should update to (today) MIUI 13.05.0 witrhe Android 12.

I've had my phone since December 2020 but have just realised that it hasn't done a single update (security or otherwise) since purchase! I'm still on Android v10 but it should've updated to v12 by now.
I can see an 'Available Update' in the About Phone section but when I click on it nothing happens! I've even tried downloading updates but they won't install!
Can anyone help please?

It can be connected to a WiFi network while the Hotspot is enabled!

Mine got the European Android 12 / MIUI 13 update and it is mind blowing. At first it looks exactly the same as the previous version but in reality it is dramatically faster and smoother. There are no hiccups in animations, effects and transitions. All apps are starting instantly. There was a nasty issue with the framerate droping significantly, now it is absolutely solid. You no longer have to wait for app updates to finish, they are only download and got installed in few milliseconds. There are no obvious bugs. As you might expect there are less functions for the EU rom, mainly there are no widgets, but I am completely fine with that new performance.

Excellent phone for the money I cannot recommend you get it enough. I get three days from the battery alone!
