if you think oled is much more better,just buy the redmi k30pro(poco f2pro in some of your country maybe) with 60hz oled at even lower price.Or the mi10 instaead of mi10t pro at 600euro+.
I am so glad xiaomi release a phone with best made LCD screen from TCL,except some Sharp phones only released in Japan(those beast have 4k 120hz LCD screen)

I don't mind having a side or back fingerprint it's more accurate and faster than FOD
but I do mind about AMOLED I can't live without Dark Mode LCD can't handle it
If only it comes with 90hz + amoled that would be perfect rather than LCD 144Hz 😏
And why the high end 108 sensor & the crappy macro camera 😡
Why not in between a good main camera+ a zoom with 3x telephoto
This phone is not for me put it in the garbage bin 🗑️

Just take a look other worldwide brands Apple,Huawei,Samsung's standard and Pro versions difference. Not like Xiaomi, realme's same thing with more ram and more cameras

There are some great LCD panels in the market that has colors like amoled ( except black , that's contrast issue not colour ) Overall for the price is good choice for someone who is not freaked about amoled panels. If you live only with amoled do not buy it

Just the ... moreBetween Pro and non Pro version of course is the camera hardware, where Pro has the higher end camera hardware, with OIS.
If you are not those that want the best camera at the time, then probably you can just pick the Mi 10T. If you really care and want the best camera, of course just pick the Mi 10T Pro.
It doesn't means the normal Mi 10T will take bad picture, I would say it is already good enough for today standard, just that it is not the best available, you won't see much different if just share on social media. Then, not everyone are pixel peeping on every image detail, the precious moments to capture image actually is more valuable than just want the best picture quality. (Those really serious with image quality, should already invest in standalone digital camera that has much better sensors and optic lens, still unrivalled by smartphone)
So, it really depends on personal choices.

All comments here has no right and wrong.
At the end, it is about the pricing for global market, which Xiaomi makes many extra effort to lower down the price.
Then, when we say priced lower, there is compromise on something.
The most obvious cut corner of course is the screen. AMOLED of course is superior, that's why the very high price of original Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, then the Poco F2 Pro that even has AMOLED, is only stick with 60hz.
Now, this one, is for those who want high end flagship specs, but at much lower price with LCD. Yes, LCD in no way better than AMOLED in term of image quality, but at least Xiaomi is providing the 144hz LCD.
If you cannot stand with LCD, then just pick the normal Mi 10 or Mi 10 Pro, but with higher price.

Disagree AMOLED being only so great that using anything else shouldn't even be considered. There are pros for LCD either. This simple fact is too hard to accept for many AMOLED worshipers and they're offended even if one of a few new phones doesn't pack it. Funny enough, at the same time complaining about too many new models. Cherry on top, models they ask already exist, not to mention overwhelming majority of new phones will be AMOLED anyway. That's stupid. selfish and arrogant.
Why insist this very phone must be AMOLED at all costs if there are and will be enough of them. It's meant to be LCD, simply ignore it once.

Go for the poco f2 pro, 60hz oled screen makes the battery last longer..mi10t pro got faster/accurate side button fingerprint sensor. Take whichever price lower..

A $600 phone with no OLED is honestly an insult by todays standard. Also, anything above 90hz is arguably more a gimick than anything else.
And why do companies even need to waste time and money pumping out ridiculous amounts of models, on a self-imposed 6-month schedule??? Models that fail in the market raise the price of future models to cover losses, so it's a bad model for consumers.
To sum it up, you SHOULDN'T, even MUSTN'T make excuses for companies making moves for their own agenda, because such moves fall on our back

I'm working in phone factory here the bulk price of making MASS PRODUCE ORIGINAL CLONE phone parts.
IPS LCD - per 1000 units / each $5.65 USD - //market $20
AMOLED - per 1000 units / each $11.48 USD - //market $50
OLED - per 1000 units / each $8.85 USD - //market $35
see how they collect the profit.
total cost to build 1 clone phone like samsung S20 only $112.54 USD. market $999 included tax.

Some say LCD is better because of its lifespan

IpsDisplay, 30 Sep 2020Please go out in the real world and leave the smartphone... moreNo idea about the lack of oleds on laptops but oleds are much better suited with phones than laptops and desktops coz you carry them with you everywhere you go. I am using an old phone that has amoled and currently in the market to buy a replacement. Checked some phones with high refresh rate on IPS but they dont even compare with my old amoled phone. The color is just rich in amoled while IPS looks like there's a ''smokey'' film or filter on top of the screen. So yeah I would choose amoled anytime. Amoled with high refresh rate would be a better choice.
