This is about both me and my partner...
I loved the phone until the power button stopped reading my thumb prints, now it doesnt work at all(finger print stopped at 3 months but lived with it as barely used and power button just went about 20 mins ago), paying on three contact but they are useless...
My partner's was working fine until last week until you could only use the power button by pressing low down... Weve had contract for 7 months and its been agony

When any call on what's app comes, many times I find difficult to find that call. It doesn't show, only ring tone comes.
Any solution please...

this will be last time that I am gonna buy a Xiaomi phone.
I am fed up with their issues.
my redmi 7 didnt even have any issue.
And I cannot accept that my phone will just suddenly lost its fingerprint without any reason?
I hate this phone of Xiaomi.
I will never ever buy a Xiaomi phone ever again.
Better in Samsung, Pixel or iphone
Such a waste of money!!!!!!!

I love everything about this phone. But, I have some heating issues.
Could it be fixed by MIUI 12.5 update?

I got the 5g 8gig ram version and have zero complaints 5 months in. It's super fast, great camera and sound quality and sooo light. Only gripe I had was the wallpaper carousel app kept trying to install itself. Once I found a link to the foreign market version on Google play I was able to completely uninstall it.

After service repair it, just 1 month it works correctly. And again the same problem - the power button has stuck, it is impossible to charge it, it is impossible to switch it on - so the phone is dead.
I hope that Xiaomi will fix the problem with the power button. Moreover - I would recommend transferring the fingerprint to another place because it causes a lot of problems when placed on the power button.

I bought my phone 8 month ago, it works good. It's very light and comfortable to hold. None of the issues above happened. But sometimes during shooting games (call of duty mobile especially) fps drops, even while set up 90hz. It just freezes..
