Merry, 30 Jun 2021Is this phone compatible with Verizon?Hi Merry, if you're planning to buy this phone and it hasn't been officially launched in your country, the only option you have is to buy the China Rom version because as far as I know, the model hasn't been launched in other country and there's no official Global Rom version yet. I personally doubt that China Rom will be compatible with verizon but I also have zero knowledge of the phone's full compatibility. Therefore, I strongly advice you to wait until it has been officially launched in your country to avoid any problem.

Is it China ROM or other country that doesn't support Netflix? You have to know that Netflix is not supported in 4 countries and it's listed in their website. So, if you're using China rom , tough luck. Similarly, play protect (well, the whole GMS) is also not supported with China rom.
People, if you want to buy a phone (especially from China), make sure that you're aware about what are the things that isn't supported. If you already know it, made research on how to overcome it or you can live with the way it is, by all means just buy it. If you're not ready with the "shortcomings", don't even bother.. you'll just end up complaining about it and felt you've just wasted your money.

Hi guys
My device has the black crush issue and by changing the colour scheme from "Auto" to "Original Colour", it's got better around 70 percent in UI when the dark mod is activated and also it's almost gone on video playback, no matter what the brightness level is. So those who has the same issue can try this. It has worked in my case.

After a hate relationship with Xiaomi 9T, and being back to my beloved OnePlus 5T I thought I could try again, maybe it was me. It wasn't.
The battery life is really disappointing, one charge using the phone with bluetooth, gps and 5g is too much and the phone just dies before the sun is set.
Also, I'm furious about the fact that I CAN'T USE NETFLIX, on the Play Store it says is not compatible with the device, WTF!?
I hate it, I really do. I'm sending it back and going back to OnePlus, I've never should left.

For anyone who wants to know... The phone has true stereo sound not only dual speakers. Also it really needs the latest update from xiaomi, otherwise it gets over heated very quick even on idle mode. I'm not sure about the battery though, I think it gets drained too quickly.

Mi 11 lite 5g upgraded to 12.5.
I cannot go over 12/18h of battery with SOT between 4h / 4h 30'.
It is constantly hot, about 38° - 39° celsius.
I leave always on bluetooth and mobile data, nfc and localization.
But i am not using so much the phone.
Very disappointed. It is a faulty phone? Or anyone that use for a 10-20 minutes chrome or a video has phone hot?
The camera is also worse, if i use for a video after 5-6 minutes it told me to close flash cause phone is too hot.
I am in Italy, here in these days there are 32° so i understand that is hot also the wheather, and so the display is always at maximum power due to the lighnting.
But i dont use synchrojization, i dont use 90hz, dont use 5g.
it cannot became hot so easily

Just because your Mi A2 have GPay in quick settings doesn't mean this one would, the Mi A2 is Android One.

Original Google idea? they invinted rear fingerprint scanner?
Plus you talk about index finger, I also register my middle finger on rear fingerprint phones.
And you can't use rear fingerprint scanner when the phone is laying on the table, so it's not the best, side mounted and correctly positioned in display fingerprint scanners are better.
So: 5G sim, wifi6, NFC and Bluetooth that always on, enabled always on screen, enabled 90hz screen refresh rate.
You use all this and you're surprised the battery drain faster, do you think the 5000 mAh battery of a S21 Ultra will do better? knowing it has a bigger display, higher resolution, and 120Hz, it's probably gonna end up almost same, except better in standby.
Yes, as you said, the phone would be thicker but also heavier.
I agree with everything else you said, thanks for your opinion.
