Bad battery

    Mi 11 lite 5g upgraded to 12.5.

    I cannot go over 12/18h of battery with SOT between 4h / 4h 30'.

    It is constantly hot, about 38° - 39° celsius.

    I leave always on bluetooth and mobile data, nfc and localization.

    But i am not using so much the phone.

    Very disappointed. It is a faulty phone? Or anyone that use for a 10-20 minutes chrome or a video has phone hot?

    The camera is also worse, if i use for a video after 5-6 minutes it told me to close flash cause phone is too hot.

    I am in Italy, here in these days there are 32° so i understand that is hot also the wheather, and so the display is always at maximum power due to the lighnting.

    But i dont use synchrojization, i dont use 90hz, dont use 5g.

    it cannot became hot so easily

        Just because your Mi A2 have GPay in quick settings doesn't mean this one would, the Mi A2 is Android One.

        For the fingerprint, this is written in the review: While its position is quite helpful, it could also lead to many misreads while handling the phone. If this becomes an issue - we recommend changing the fingerprint trigger within Settings from Touch to Press.
        Original Google idea? they invinted rear fingerprint scanner?
        Plus you talk about index finger, I also register my middle finger on rear fingerprint phones.
        And you can't use rear fingerprint scanner when the phone is laying on the table, so it's not the best, side mounted and correctly positioned in display fingerprint scanners are better.

        So: 5G sim, wifi6, NFC and Bluetooth that always on, enabled always on screen, enabled 90hz screen refresh rate.
        You use all this and you're surprised the battery drain faster, do you think the 5000 mAh battery of a S21 Ultra will do better? knowing it has a bigger display, higher resolution, and 120Hz, it's probably gonna end up almost same, except better in standby.
        Yes, as you said, the phone would be thicker but also heavier.

        I agree with everything else you said, thanks for your opinion.

          Why we dont see xiaomi max again

            Have been using it for about 2 weeks. Came from Mi A2. Hope my opinion helps somebody here. Beautiful screen. Looks very good under sun light. So far the phone won't feel laggy, it is fast. If u like pure android experience. U need tweaks settings in a lot of places. There is a "pixel experience" theme available for download. U can give it a try

            MIUI is just... buggy.... GPS stayed on for after turn on air plane mode. They removed the GPay from quick setting menu (control center?) The home devices control is totally a mess. Unusable at all. No matter how many times u reconfigure it. Whatever deleted, added will just go haywired.

            Camera is quite good for casual photo taking.

            Fingerprint unlocking is very fast. The placement of fingerprint scanner on power button I think is a failure because most of the time you will touch it accidentally. Original Google idea of using index finger to unlock from the back is the the best.

            Speaker is ok, stereo. Nothing more to highlight.

            So far so good, the only complaint from me is MIUI bug and battery issue. Don't get me wrong, It is actually can give a full 36+ hours of standby time. BUT after u have 5G sim, wifi6, NFC and Bluetooth that always on, enabled always on screen, enabled 90hz screen refresh rate. Then u will feel the bottleneck of battery size.

            This phone if come with 5000 battery then even better. Then of course the phone won't be that slim anymore.

            The app watcher/battery cleaner from xiaomi is quite aggressive, it can make your app not working as u expected. I need to set exception for an COVID-19 contract tracing app and Google clock app.

                  dont look at for the solution... like why the screen is so green or so blue
                  u be ur solution
                  selling is the only way if u dont like a product

                  my suggest is
                  if u have conditions to work with a product before buying it...just do it. go to the offline stores & test it
                  otherwise u dont have any other choice after buying....just selling

                    I'm a little disapointed about the screen.. the green color is really heavier. I use google cam the lastest version and it's doesn't change a lot.

                    If i try to setup the advanced color scheme to large color, green is really flashy. If i use the p3 or srgb the black is overtinted with kind of white transparency.. it's not good.

                    Does of you have been calibrated the screen ? If yes there is a way to have a share of your config ?

                                  Can anyone tell me if it is splashproof IP53? Specs here say yes, review says no. Maybe in the box or manual it can be confirmed?
