I'm on Aosp (Evo X) rom , might change to Miui 14 if the bug has been fixed.

anthzila, 24 Jan 2023To me, the issue on overheating in MI 11 Pro is when you tu... moreso as for the extra heat out put is due to games running on higher fps due to games running at the screen current refresh rate, eg. 60hz=60 fps, 120hz= 120 fps for the most part and assuming that the phone can run 120 fps, but in reality it runs it close to 80 or 90 fps, anyway, the moooooore power you give the more heat you will get, and in that logic 60 hz is cool and 120 hz is hot, if you want to get the most out of your phone i highly recommend getting a good phone cooler in general and blackshark funcooler pro 2 in particular (cuz i have it and used it and got great results out of it redused temps from 43 on average to around 35 with the phone being cooler and faster because there is no thermal throttling)

When I turned it on, I noticed heating when I play games even as simple sa Mobile Legends. But when I turned the refresh rate back to 60mhz. The overheating disappeared.

Is is... moreso far, they are the same, at first it heated up because of new updated, but after few days it cooled down to normal as in miui.eu 13.0.13, the only thing is kinda annoying in miui.eu 14 update is the reconfiguration of the notifications of apps like WhatsApp and messenger because of new intensive memory management algorithm, and because Ai preloading isn't available in this update, so I can say miui.eu 13.0.13 is a little bit better, but heat wise they are the same so far, but if you play games i highly recommend getting blackshark funcooler 2 pro, you cant be too safe around these ticking failure wifi phones

Wew, 19 Jan 2023Hi all, I have this Mi 11 Pro. it fell and the screen shatt... moreyes it will cuz mi 11 pro and mi 11 ultra are literally the same exact phone with the same code name star/mars, the only deference between them is the camera placement, so yes the display is the same

Hi all, I have this Mi 11 Pro. it fell and the screen shattered from the middle edge. My question is i found Mi 11 Ultra screen replacement but will it work with this Mi 11 Pro? with the fingerprint and all? since it seems they have the same screen and size etc? if anyone can helps thanks.

small update, the new miui.eu 14 have a problem with the notification from WhatsApp and messenger, it doesn't show anything unless the app is already running (tried everything), and AI preloading is gone now from special features.

just updated miui.eu 14.0.6.0 based on android 13 and ill do some test on the temperature and heat and I will follow for a reply in the next week, but so far the look is almost identical to miui 13, a plus is the expandable ram now up from 3 to 5 gb. anyway see you in the next week with the follow up.

Bobfish, 14 Dec 2022Switched to custom ROM 2 weeks ago. Now the phone is runnin... moreironically other roms work much better on xiaomi rather its own rom, eg. pixel experience and miui.eu. i switched to miui.eu on july as a last resort before selling the phone, and to my surprise it worked really well and the temps are good, in my opinion, global rom is the worst, china rom is in the middle and miui.eu is the best

Switched to custom ROM 2 weeks ago. Now the phone is running Pixel Experience+ (unofficial) ROM. Temps are now lower with better battery life. And everything seems faster, smoother.
It's just over 6 months been using this phone. So far everything's good , still working like a new phone. Probably can last another 6 months at least.
My next phone will be the Mi 13 pro.
