Hi MI3 Users,
Kindly help me with the problem im facing with MI3.
While trying to download themes it asked to login into Mi Account. While creating account ( By using both email id and Number) an error message is prompting as "SIM CARD NOT BOUND TO PHONE". Tried several times with high speed internet but still not succeeded. Kindly let me know how to fix this. And is there any other source to download Themes.

mony, 01 Sep 2014when i call someone,,the back light will automatically off,... morethis is because of that screen guard hiding the proximity sensor near to MI. remove that once and see.

sivananda, 01 Sep 2014I already tried that option import/export from sim.there is... moreclick on cantacts, then click the left button - settings - display preferences - show sim caontacts. enable that and click the below tab (configure contact list) to see the contact dispaly. Now u go and verify the contacts.

mony, 01 Sep 2014when i call someone,,the back light will automatically off,... moreI too currently am facing the same issue. Ordered on 26 recd today(1/9/2014). Touch feel is good. However the challenge the screen goes completely blank when i make a call. i cannot disconnect till either the call is disconnected at the other end or it hangs out.
Any handy solutions from available pls do share

I am not able to download any application from play store. It always ask to download through WiFi but I am not able to do it by both ways. Whats wrong cn any body explain me ?

Plz anyone tell whether ur phone is also having sound near flash light at back? Mine makes a creeky sound when im closing the camera.

I bought Mi3 on 30 aug from flip kart. No doubt its a awesome phone or its price. But after using for 2 days i have got an issue on my phone with the gravity sensor.
when i view images if i turn side ways it shows up fine .. but when i take back to normal position they sensor doesnt work and image still shows up on the side ways.
My auto rotation is also onall the time and also did factory reset. I have made the complain to flipkart to replace my handset . But still no help from there end. Kindly suggest me any solution.

After using both asus zenfone 5 and mi3 for a week i found zenfone 5 to be more value for money,it is more user friendly.interface is so beautiful.Although mi3 is a monster in performance but i liked zenfone5 more.

I purchased this phone on august 12th sale on flip-kart & I've been using it for more than 2 weeks.
The phones that i have used till are L.G Optimus GT540, Sony Xperia Neo V, L.G Optimus Black, Samsung Galaxy S Advance & Galaxy S4.
My review on Mi3:
1> Build Quality: It is Extremely good & it feels premium
even though the back panel is made out of
polymer based material.
The corning gorilla glass 3 keeps the
scratches at bay.The touch sensitivity is
quite good & is responsive.
2>Display:As expected from an IPS display it has great
Viewing angles & color reproduction is accurate.
3>Camera:It's quite good it will take good pics in a well
lit environment but performs poorly indoors & in
low light conditions.
the shutter speed is awesome for a phone in this
price range. Its faster than all the phones that
I've used previously.
I'am hoping that the next update fill fix the
shortcomings of the indoor & low light photos.
4>The UI: Mi UI is quite complex & it takes quite some time
to get used to it. It is a feature rich UI, once
you get used to this you will be hooked.
It is smooth & lag free.
Initially the phone sold in the first two batches
had some glitches but it
has been fixed. The people who are complaining in
the comment section of this site have not updated
the UI to the current version. Or you can use
Google launcher.
5>Battery:It has 3050 mAh battery & is better than most of
the phones available in the market. For a normal
user the charge will last for close to 2 days.
For a power user it will last for about 16 hours.
only concern is it is non user replaceable.
6>Performance: Absolute beast. All apps & Games that I've
used works flawlessly without any lag.
The user can regulate the performance mode
this device, there are three modes
a>Battery saver mode
b>Normal mode (Antutu Score around 30000)
c>Performance mode ( around 35000)
It is better than Samsung S4 ,Xperia Z1
There are few cons like the storage it only has 16 GB internal storage & no mmc slot that's a huge disappointment
The service centers are available only in top tire cities.
It will eventually expand in a few months, initially Motorola also had the same problem look at them now they have settled in quite nicely.
All in all it depends on the end user who is willing to accept that this phone is a good device , because some of them have an illusion that chinese good are of inferior quality.
Based on my previous experience with android phones this phone is better than most of the phones available in the market
