AnonD-292988, 10 Aug 2014Guys!!! Anyone pleaseeeeeeeeee help me with these 2 issues.... moreUpdate to latest V23 firmware thru OTA (very SD small update only 12MB) & update your Mi Manager (aka PC Suit which you named it), it will works.
Once you start the "PC suit" you will noticed a small circle at bottom left is turning in orange color, wait for a while you would noticed a pop up menu on top left, prompt you to update to latest version "PC suit", update it & wait for a while, your " PC Suit " will restart, now you can use it like usual.

Coz i had that and using the updater i selected that package and updated/reverted back.... If u dont have the backup of v18 rom then go to updater and then reboot to recovery... In the recovery mode select English then go inside and reboot to system 2 (old rom). U ll be back to old rom

Guys!!! Anyone pleaseeeeeeeeee help me with these 2 issues.
1.When my mi-3 is connected to my desktop, im trying to use internet from pc to mi-3, i'm selecting the option "Connect to internet through pc", but internet is not getting connecting..showing speeds lrom 0.15kbps-0.75kbps maxxxx.. That's it. Its not connecting.
I'M USING WINDOWS XP SP2, Is this the reason??? or any other?
2.When i connect my mi-3 to earphones, im unable to play songs or videos.. I used standard earphones with single button. SHOULD I USE ANY OTHER TYPE OF EARPHONE?
Please guys help me with.. Flipkart had already arranged me REFUND. But i dont want to loose this BAZOOKA.
Some people facing issues with Mi PC Suite(chineese version).

I got the Taiwan version of the Mi3 about a week ago. The phone has been working great, no big issues what-so-ever and worth everything I paid.
The screen is great, speakers are okay, no issues with signal. Camera performs well except in some low light situations, maybe a future update could fix it a bit. Video playback is good. MiUi interface is actually great, fun to use and very customisable.
Build quality is amazing for a phone of this price. It really feels like a premium device and fits well enough in your hand. The design obviously is similar to the Nokia meego running N9.
The battery performance is good but i expected it to last longer. However it's probably because I'm on 3G all day and do a whole lot of reading/videos/pictures. Still lasts close to a day.
The phone does get hot, specially if you're using 3G a lot mainly near the earpiece, probably because the sim slots right there. Continuous use of the camera for a long time also results in the same. Worth mentioning is the heat does dissipate fast enough.
I do recommended this phone just because you'll be paying so little for so much.

My God, what a phone it is at this price!
I booked on 5th & got delivery on 8th.
I switched it on & it asked for wi-fi key which I provided.
Next it asked for my gmail id/password & in next 5 minutes it set my phone completely up including the Contacts, Apps, Google+ etc by auto syncing with my gmail.
The more I am using it the more I like what I have got though the phone I was using so far was a HTC One X.
The MIUI is wonderful & actually has the best mix of both Android & iOS.
The look of MI3, however could have been better, though MI4 fulfills that also to the hilt I guess.
It will be a genuine challenge now to the top two Samsung & Apple to keep pace in next two years if the initial promise of MI is upheld.

My WhatsApp doesn't load mess... moreActivate Notification in Whatsapp setting & you will the pop ups when messages come.
Just pull them down to see the message.
You can put a special colour to notify you too from the same setting.

Possible cause is we touch on junk cleaner app which is inbuilt available in top left corner and left widget of main home screen.
This may possible reason coz its clears cathched apps in background.
Let me know ur experience.Which MIUI is available on ur cell.Mine is V16.

Hi guys,
Anybody know how to install pc suit in phone flash drive to Windows XP.(PC suit provided is in chinese language so unable to read while installing on pc)
Drivers not installed so unable to connect connect for file transfer on my windows XP.
Anybody having driver of mi3 link so please share.

Great phone.....performance is unbelievable!! camera is great outdoors but nothing special indoors and in low light...overall a slightly above average camera! very slippery so getting a case is recommended plus the pointy edges make it uncomfortable to hold after sometime..
xiaomi could have included a sd card slot that's pretty much the only con about this device!
as much as value for money goes.....it would still be worth buying if it was priced at 20k
Final verdict
Go ahead and buy one u can't go wrong with this! There's nothing in the market right now that even comes close!
kudos xiaomi keep making phones like this and samsung is screwed!

Somebody please tell Me, ‘how to check benchmark scores’ & about phone temperature ‘? , I haven’t use Android phone before . this is my first Android phone.
& one more Thing, I m getting update directly from MIUI 16 to MIUI 23.so please Tell, backup is important? I don't know how to take back up . should I use 3g or wife to get updates done? Please help me.
