I have already posted my reviews earlier. Check it. And 1 thing It can even outperform most high end smartphones from any branded companies. For example say some phone which has the same specs like - snapdragon 800, adreno 330, full hd and with their UI or some other android UI of their own., this xiaomi mi3 will be far user friendly and smooth than that phone coz of MIUI.highly optimised rom... And user interface. Looks so simple but u can do a hell lot of things with this UI. Reverse tethering from computer with one click and so on.. Actually i cant express it , u must use the mobile atleast one day and u will find the difference.

In Battery - Power settings - High performance and Balance mode are only available. Power saving mode not there.
Help me out.

So I was among those who was fortunate to get this phone from flipkart. The phone is worth for money. Performance is superb. No lagging while playing games. UI is kind of OK. Email app is nice. Can't get a better phone on this price tag. Dont feel its a chinese brand. In china, u can get good products and cheap products. This one is the best from china. This phone is soon going to capture the globe.

That didn't heat up? And if so how is the battery backup of zenfone in 3G always on? And just curious what you use 3G to be always on?

I am using this handset for about a week now, so far my observations are
Display - 5 inc display is simply awesome
Battery - Lasts for 2(~40hrs) days with use of 2G data /Wi-Fi data, 20 mins of gaming, connected to internet most of the time and 16 hrs of sleep(not switch off).
RAM - have loaded on FB, Whatsapp and other light apps only. ran some car race game for about 10 mins was really smooth.
Internal memory - this is a problematic if you wish to have most in your phone card. available space to user is around ~12GB.
Camera - photo quality is awesome in sunlight but just good within building or artificial light. please don't expect night mode to be that great, however flash serves to some extent.
UI -- MIUI is simply superb and I don't see any other device in this price range having so many options. having said that this is also a negative because only developers can effectively make use of this options.
MIUI is built upon ANDROID KITKAT and by downloading different launchers you can also change MIUI to basic Android KITKAT and you can switch between launchers easily.
Appearance -This is already projected on many website, look and feel is good enough.
Inbuilt music player has all that you need no need to download any new music player app, same with video player.
inbuilt Radio app has recording option
Themes like in traditional Nokia mobile phones for MIUI.
cons are -
Post sales Service is something not that clear .
Box contains no earphones.
Like traditional chainee mobiles ,1st 2 rings for outgoing calls are too loud, from 3rd ring onwards it seems to have settled.
Single SIM(MINI not MICRO) slot.
NO card slot, SIM slot is external and Battery is non removable. Hence no point in break opening the panel :).

I got the mobile on the first sale 22 July. As a user of more than two weeks, it is an awesome device. If you don't trust me, just grab if any of your friends are having it. When you feel it you will love it. It not only looks and feels premium, but also works as a high end device. It is a premium device. I read comments about chinese engineering & american engineering, please don't be biased by the chinese brand, it not a yet another chinese brand or mobile.
There are 3 performance modes. 1.High performance 2. Balance 3. Battery Saving. In High Performance my mobile Antutu benchmark result is 34762, stays top in the rankings.
I have installed Asphalt 8 Airborne, Frontline Commando all I high graphics intensive games. Plays without any lag at all.
I tested choosing the Battery Saving option and played the games. It played well without any lag in even Battery Saving mode. Think what it could do in High Performance mode.
Heating Issue. When you play Asphalt 8 , which smartphone doesn't get warm?
I have Note 2 also, it also gets warm when playing Asphalt 8. I didn't find any significant increase in heating comparatively to any other smartphone.
I think, People hear use Mi3 for first time and they play games and they sense the warm and decide it heats up, without knowing what other smartphone does. Every phone in market right now heats up when using graphic intensive apps.
Battery Backup outstanding. I operated for a whole day, with 3g, wifi, gaming , calls, with screen brightness of 75% & in Balance Setting Mode. I still had juice left to charge still next day. If you use Auto Brightness or reduce the screen brightness with Battery saving mode, it can easily last for 1.5 days. Battery charges in less than 2 hours.
Themes... Guys trust me , whole lot of themse.. i can't stop seeing them. Been glued to it. The design, look everything so good. The UI 'MIUI' interface is a the icing on top. Some may not like the apps being rounded in shape, especially who are used to typical android apps shape. They can use any launcher such as Nova Launcher, once installed it gives the look and feel of the typical android interface. The sky is the limit for 'MIUI' customization. You can select different components from different themes and use as your own them in whatever way you like.
Camera: Outdoor pics are awesome. I agree under low light it does shows some grains only when you zoom. But guys it is not a cam, it is a mobile. And trust those grains aren't visible unless you zoom in completely. Secondary camera's age & gender detection is a real funny feature. It is just a funny feature, age changes depending upon the amount of light falling on the face, but will make you guys laugh with your friends.
USB OTG works very well with pendrive and External Hard Disk. Able to connect 1 TB WD my passport HDD and play video from it. If anybody wants to know how to connect External HDD, use USB Stick Plugin & Total commander so that NTFS file format will be detected. The same with pendrives if its FAT32 it can detect directly, else install the above apps.
The phone looks beautiful and feels awesome. It is very slippery so a TPU Case or any case would be advisable. AND TO THOSE WHO SAYS THERE IS NO INFO ABOUT GORILLA GLASS 3 IN OFFICIAL WEBSITE.
