AnonD-157510, 05 Aug 2014I strongly recommend u to go back to iphone... Or juz get a... moreWhy are you so offended? I have both phones and I think the Xiaomi does not offer the value for money that the Zenfone does. It might feel so on paper, but in reality it doesn't. Yes the Xiaomi price sounds great when you compare it to other flagships, but there are few people who would exploit that processor. If you are a teenager spending your dads money and don't really care for how much bang you get for your buck and all your peers are fanboys like you go ahead and get it, must be worth it for you. But if you are a self respecting adult spending your hard earned money, think twice that's all. I presume most people buying the Xiaomi are value conscious, which is the selling point of the Mi3 at that price and as are most Indians by habit. I could afford a much more expensive phone if I wanted, but the tech cycle is at a point where it doesn't make sense anymore to spend too much. Phones now are akin to buying assembled PCs to branded PCs in the early 2001-02. It's pointless. And as an assembled mash up, the Zenfone 5 offers more value and does everything that the Xiaomi does (except maybe games) for 4000rs less. The stunning thing about the Zenfone 5s processor UI ram combo is evident not only in routine use, but also heavier tasks like time scrolling through full HD video, the speed is just brilliant and faster than most laptops bought a few years ago. Let's face it, the Xiaomi says a different story about you than does an Asus. If this phone had no issues I wouldn't be complaining, I fell for the hype and reviews and bought it dint I? But the Chinese knock off edges are showing through and some things we take for granted don't work, and a hidden cheapness shows through.(--> my earlier post) All I m saying is to wait for more phones to come out and see how the reviews are, because none of the reviews I read before buying this told me about the poor workmanship in some areas and the faulty sensors, there is clearly a lack of genuine reviews in English on this phone. If this phone was as flawless as it is, I feel they would have released a lot of phones in the first trache and let the reviews and user experience do it's own talking and then maybe create an artificial shortage to build hype. But instead they released the specs, dint release enough phones so that the hype could build unaffected by genuine reviews and then once they have sucked everyone in they are leaving people with lemons. Don't expect this phone to be problem free, the Chineseness and the low price does come through. Now it's your money, you will of course do what you think is smartest, so please..go ahead.

AnonD-291298, 06 Aug 2014I feel that the only drawback of this phone is Non-removabl... moreNon-removable doesn't mean that it's non-replaceable, it's just cannot be removed by users. Replacement can be done at service centers or any phone shops that have the appropriate battery model.

Who tells you iPhone battery can't be replaced must be a dumb.

AnonD-289749, 06 Aug 2014 Why do i want to spot a fake one ? Seriously ? They are av... moreGenuine units with ready stock available at shops will always be higher than the XiaoMi online price. It's impossible to buy any XiaoMi phones cheaper than the online price even ap imported set from China. New units that are cheaper than online price will 99% be clone units.

However there's some "smart" sellers too who sell clone units at price higher than online price trying to convince people that it's a genuine one. That's what happens in China.

Black screen is due to the stupid users who didn't remove the screen protecting plastic (not a screen protector) or enabled proximity sensor and blocking it.
Alarm not ringing? Seriously? No such thing on a genuine and not-messed-up unit.
Whatsapps issues already fixed through updates.

I don't think so. Try in flipkart. you will get it. I got mine in 1st sale. It is harder to differentiate unless you run many apps to find out what is inside. And still buy only from official source, it is not worth the risk to take.

Hi all, I am about to buy the Mi3 in the next sale. But before that I did some "review-reading" and stuff and found out that the phone has many bugs like: "alarm not ringing", "phone blacking out during call and doesnt comes back alive unless press the power or volume button", "whatsapp or other apps' push notifications not working when screen is off". All the users, if found the bugs and their solution kindly let me know so that I can buy this incredible phone without any hesitation.

                                  Thanks in advance.

Anonymous, 06 Aug 2014Why you do want to spot a fake one? The one you get through... more Why do i want to spot a fake one ? Seriously ? They are available in a shop ( have stock @ normal price ), dont need to go through the hassle of flipkart ( cannot use flipcart anyway) . Doubt that they would be fake from this shop , but the fakes are getting harder to spot apparently . Considering how many in forums are having issues , i wonder if many actually have fakes .
