I got my mobile 2 days back. Mi3 is fantastic and 110% paisa vasul. Its running very good, good camera & resolution, performance and themes. Dont see bad reviews, go and take.

I've never seen any Samsung clones with a dedicated developer forum. There's no kernel sources, but there's custom ROMs like modded MIUI or other ROMs like IuniOS.

Funny people don't mind theirs data in Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, store in US server or BBM data stored in Canada server, but brouhaha when the Data stored in China server, we are not 007 why so worried... hahaha

so guys any one who is facing this issue where screen is going off while making a call just remove the screen guard came along with the phone and it will be fine, as i was facing the same issue and its been resolved as soon i removed the screen guard...

But how you are uninformed that according GNU General Public License, kernel should be released. Xiaomi released kernel for MI2, and XIaomi has to release kernel for MI3, may not be now, but it has to and will in the future. Once the kernel is released and as a ROM developer you know you can do whatever you want. I very well vanilla android experience won't be available, and again expect moto & nexus no other gets vannila experience without rooting. And finally I love MIUI and there are others few i believe love it too. And I know there are who used to vannila android feeling would hate this. Just because I like it you don't have to like it. And in the same way just because you like vannila android feeling everyone should hate MIUI. As a developer who is used to flashing you may not get much out of it without a kernel available, there many out there who don't want to root their device. You can't generalize the feedback based on just what you like.

If the customization is to core like the way MIUI is, you can never get the vanilla android experience on Mi3. The only selling point for this phone is Snapdragon 800 at INR 13999 period. You may find x no. of reasons to justify yourself and others about investing in this phone. Btw there will never be any development for Mi3 outside MIUI community as Xiaomi never releases sources. There is no difference between Xiaomi and other Chinese companies that make Samsung clones. You are just stuck with what you buy forever.
