The above link is the screen shot(use volume down + menu) of my batter usage, shows it's been 1 day in battery still 9% left out, which includes 2 hours of gaming, voice calls around 2 hours, and wifi on for more than 10 hours + occational 3g usagae (use to switch off, 3g drains more battery), pretty average usage with screen brightness 60%.
It is quite common for any smartphone to drain when used heavily. i understand you said screen brightness less than auto, it also depends on how much you use wifi, 3g , gaming. 3g & gaming drains more. I have Samsung Note 2 also, i did not find MI3 draining faster than Note 2. Actually I found MI3 to be more efficient than Note 2.

signal quality, display, sound, gaming, camera all are good!!
I loved it's interface amazing it is..
but I am facing battery issue, it cuoldn't make it even up to 16hrs!!!
screen consumption is always more than 50% even I updated it with latest version of MIUI, KXDMIBE 18.0 but still it couldn't help!! Even using it in battery saving mode & the screen is at it's lowest not even in auto!! What to do, help??

Hi, Apart from look this phone simply awesome. Good battery life, no heating problem, impressive gaming experience. As per price camera is also working well and you don't need to put screen guard on it if your are using case. Simple buy in if your budget is under 15K and if you don't care about brand.

Interesting specs at an interesting price... I was eagerly waiting for the next online sale, but came across such a risky statement while reviewing the product over the internet... "xiaomi is sending users data on some server in China, even the manufacturers have replied on their FB page telling that its just UI related stuff and nothing serious... still I doubt the Chinese on this" (See below links)

I am not a android expert and I am very much new to the smart phone space... so can somebody tell me the information that they are sending are imp stuff or negligible ones...?? I am planning to configure phone banking and office mails in my smartphone, so if it's risky, then I am planning to drop the plan of buying this...
