i got this phone yesterday from flipkart. This phone has lot of issues. poor display, The sim card detection is a big failure It is radiating heat if we speak continuously for 30-45 minutes. Music quality is also not good compared to my Previous samsung mobile.It is almost similar to china mobile. I am exchanging it today with flip-kart. My suggestion please don't buy this product,instead buy Asus zenfone which has very good features. This is not a worthy product.

Got the phone today from flipkart bangalore. Phone is very easy to handle, nothing fishy, batter..backup is must better than my note3, customisation is awesome, with lots of free themes, and importantly there is an immediate update available which is around 550+mb , that's nice, call quality is excellent, screen quality is superb, there are some chinese languages in the phone which is difficult to understand, feels like using a iPhone, hmm build quality could have been better, very delicate to handle, hope back cases could solve this problem, overall value for money.. Love the phone.. And you cannot use the phone without good back case

I have been travelling to china last 7 years and Xiaomi r the best selling phones there. Its a brand which can easily beat SONY or SAMSUNG but its their rigid approach & chinese thinking which lags them .
XIAOMI r the best phones with features that none can match. Just go for it and u wont repent minus the starter Brand name.

Pepole who are having heating issues please discuss it in details.. i have already ordered and now i am getting confused. i read somewhere may b in the facebook page of MI India that a guy burnt his lap while using this phone..i have used a lenovo tab earlier and that also have some heating issue but not like this.. each and every smartphone heats up while gaming or charging..but this is weird.. please post your experiences .. i have the option to cancel my order.

I didn't face Sim card slot issue. You have to push the pin a little hard than normal phones. I gives nice click sound.
Facing heating issue but I am using the phone continuously using wifi, playing games installing apps etc.
Let me play with the phone for 2 to 3 days. Once i got bored i will write honest review.

Those specification ... moreMy dear friend,its their bussiness module,they sell the phones at the price they make it,and earn with the services afterwards,they are building their brand.Sony,Nokia etc already has their brand value,so they earn profit by selling it at a higher price,Xiaomi is an upcoming brand and they are selling it to their bare minimum manufacturing cost.

got mine today from flipkart simcard slot is not working . requested a return and most of the users facing same problem. flipkart identied the problem and cancelled most of the orders.

got my mi3 today from flipkart and is defective. simcard tray is not ejecting from phone and unable to insert sim for the first time. lot of users facing same problem with the phone and flipkart cancelled most of the orders and not allowing users who already got the phone to review it on thier website .requested a return .
