Hope it does not go down I won... moreFrom wat i have read, Xiaomi had problems to keep up the demand in any market it entered and expect it to be the same in India too. So if u can grab the Mi3 now in the initial sale days, then grab it, or you will have to w8 another 3 to 4 months. By then, u can expect a better phone in the markt compared to Mi3. So if u wanna w8 fr 3 months, m sure u ll end up getting another phone. :)

I was keen to buy this phone, which is going to release in India 22nd of July 2014. I was super excited till I read this review mentioned below.

Guys go for Gionee E7 mini. Way better than this. With dual sim,4G, front camera 5mp. 3k more u need to pay but worth.

It doesn't make sense in investing in the phone and regretting later on. I think through these inputs from everyone, people will be able to decide themselves whether or not to buy the phone. does xiaomi mi3 which is gonna sell on flipkart from 22nd July have Corning gorilla glass as protection or Not?
There is so much confusion about it and I am sending you here the specifications from www.mi.com in Chinese am it shows it has gorilla glass.
But flipkart people are denying it.
Anyone have any news regarding it?

You guys really should reserve your judgement until you actually see and handle the Mi3 with your own eyes and hands.
Let's be honest, there are a lot of other 5" FHD phones with 13MP cameras and 16GB (or more) of internal memory (and others also have SD card slots and a removable battery for bonus points). The *only* thing that makes the Mi3 standout is the fact that is has a Snapdragon 800 at this price point. Much like the OnePlus One, take away the Snapdragon 800 and replace with a Mediatek CPU and who stills wants one? Now you see.
I'm in China and was considering the Mi3 to be my 2014 phone until I actually saw and handled one and my mind changed very fast. It's big and there's nothing graceful or beautiful about its design. FYI the LG G3 with a 5.5" display is only 2mm wider and 1mm taller than the Mi3 while the Samsung S4 with its 5" display is a whooping 8mm thinner on the width and 4mm shorter on height.
I'm hoping the Mi4 will employ better more eye pleasing industrial design, something that looks and feels good in the hand because the Mi3 ain't it. IMHO Meizu has the best design out of all the Chinese phones but their MX3 was a fail in performance aspects.

AnonD-285034, 19 Jul 2014This is my honest review. When you get this phone in hand... moreVery helpful info. I also feel 16 GB is too less for everyday use. Most people listen to music on their smartphones (atleast in India). Suprised that 13MP with Sony Exmor sensor is only taking pics of 8 MP quallty. I was really hoping this will have a good camera with Image Stabilization and low light pics won't disappoint. I may give it a pass only for 2 things - no sd card support and average camera quality for a flagship. Inspite of this, this phone will sell out in a minute or two when it is launched on flipkart on Tuesday.

I think flipkart won't refund money for selling fake mi3
