... moreThat non-removable battery is really a con. Either you take it to the center for a replacement or become an Engineer and fix it yourself
Other than that I'm waiting for a detailed USER REVIEW as opposed to some commercial version
SAR value may further affect my buying decision

Could any Mi 3 users from outside India let me know about the single base speaker quality of this Xiaomi Mi 3 phone? Whether it's a stereo/mono speaker with/without amplifier??? How about the quality of the sound/audio coming out of it? I'm intrigue guys! Kindly let me know! Many thanks! Cheerio!

Insane that this phone has menu button, why would anyone want one? Its so hard to use phones without appswitch and the menu button will never be used unless you install Android 2.3. Weird phone indeed.

Now that would be a paradox, no informed person care about SAR, so what you are looking for is an uninformed person who will give you irrelevant info.

AnonD-283867, 15 Jul 2014Yes, that's the only reason am hesitating and looking for A... moreI bought Alcatel onetouch idol x+ last week from flipkart, After 2-3 days one sim slot stopped working, Then i used the other one , I asked the flipkart to replace the set , they denied by giving some steps , then i have tried those steps , dint work , asked for replacement , fortunately they were ready to return my money and they returned it.
That set is good , not any major problem other than:
That took almost 5 hour to charge from 10-100%
Sim card issue (I dont know it was with me only)
Lill heating problem(can be ignorable)

Anyone please confirm , XIAOMI MI 3 which is going for sale in India on 22nd july through flipkart is loaded with kit kat or jelly Bean ?????
Every one along with flipkart are giving information that it is loaded with kit kat , but in all the video's on youtube I have seen that it is along with jelly bean on Mi 3 in other Asian countries.
Whats the mystery behind the story, Anyone please confirm .......

Relax..its just to protect from scratches ....if u have phn with gg ...then plz try to drop it from table with screen side and u will surely know the difference between gorilla glass and gorilla...so plz dont get confused with name.

Its body is plastic but feels metal. It has Corning gorilla glass 3. Superb review on cnet.

Although it has got an excellent feature set, what I am really really worried about is the inavailability of SAR(Specific Absorption Rate) value information.
I am fully aware that this does not come under China's purview but now that they have decided to launch it in India, I would like to know the SAR values for the otherwise excellent smartphone.
Nowhere on the internet could I find an official regulatory information containing separate W/kg (head) & W/kg (body) values so that any potential buyer from India could take a well informed decision.
Waiting eagerly for a response from any informed person out there.
