Yes there is Mi Asisstant which is similar to Samsung Kies, problem is only Chinese version available for the time been, Xiaomi will come out with English version by end of the year according to Huga Barra.
You can use share Internet from computer to update the firmware if yiu can or know someone who can read chinese.

Now when I connec... moreuse wifi for updates and ya it's a big one if you wanna put the official miui v6 .. i use developer rom and i prefer those little updates every Friday,and for those that are to clumsy get a temperd glass no problem with mine no battery issues i still get a full day with a bit of heavy use full wifi some gaming and a movie or two. by the way i have the tegra 4 version

I had brought the MI3 mobile phone before 1 month back vide IMEI no 865072027886624, model. No MI3. Mobile Phone material is third grade materials, With in 10 days screen get damage. I had paid Rs 6125 /- for the screen replacement. After replacement screen with in 10 days Mobile SIM slot get damage. My mobile is now not working. MI service center ( Arjun nagar South Delhi ) asking for SIM slot replacement Rs 8500/-appr. They are cheating to the customers. They are not able to fulfill the product guaranty please don,t purses the product. Even they are not providing the proper service for the same. They are interested to collect the money from Indian consumers. that is their motto only.

Got this phone few days back, no issues.
Now when I connect it to a network it showing me update miui3 out something like that of 566mb, (this much data), I just want to know what's new in it?
Also Can anyone tell me, I've tata photon plus which I got 5 years back, how to use Internet of this to my mi3?
Also Anything like Samsung kies is available for mi3?

Please google 'how to extend/prolong battery life for mobile'..one of it is turn off 'auto brightness' function..why?because it use sensor..sensor consume battery..
