2) Check if the drivers are installed (do u get the drive shown on ur pc while u connect it ? i mean ur phone's internal storage)
3)Check it with other usb cable also (make sure the cable is working )
4)If either fails get your device checked.Hope dat helps

already have enough problems with mine, its a good phone with all the little bits of detail but its not great phone
only miui users will understand what im talking about, its kinda like alfa romeo cars, good cars.but pain in the ass to take care of

For Wallpapers, pls try using the Themes which are available on your phone rather than using single page wallpapers. I have also not used outside wallpapers yet but MiUi defined themes are superb. The only thing you need to keep in mind is most of the Themes wallpapers are in chinese so before actually downloading them preview and see if the font shows up in English. Also few Themes are big in size i.e, upto 80mb or 100 mb sometimes depending upon the graphics used in that theme. So just make sure you dont download unncessary themes which might drain up your internet usage but if you have wi-fi then you can download them unlimited for free......
