difference of mi4 with mi4 LTE - mi4 only supports LTE or 4G network in china is designed to work specifically on the LTE network in china. while the mi4 LTE version is the universal LTE version, it will work with the 4G network of all countries.
which is betteR? they have the same specs, mi4 LTE will just have the 4G work wherever country you are.

just to clarify, comes january 9, xiaomi can NO longer sell phones in INDIA. but as I said earlier they may appeal to the high court and we'll see what happen

Delhi HC permits Xiaomi to sell and import Qualcomm chipset based handsets till January 8 only.
