I believe someone replied before me saying you bought a 3G which you could agree with on technicality but actually false.
You bought the first make, the 4G version which the 4G function only works/activates in the production/manufacturing country, so i guess that would be China (perhaps some other oriental countries too, not sure though), do you live there? If not then um oops you are 4G functionless in places like western countries am afraid, sorry.
You should have waited for the next release, which is yet to be confirmed as shown/indicated here by gsmarena, to get the universal 4G version, am guessing you did not do your research on the phone in depth before jumping to buy. Try see if you can return the product and claim one fault or another, or the honest route and explain your 4G predicament, goodluck!

This Phone is really Interesting, The only downside in it that is the lack of SD card.

This phone is so brilian onthe specs, i hope this company will do good in the future , we are been fulled by this biggest companies like iphone, and samsung, sony, and alot more, which have not even 2% power of this phone, like Xiaomi, Huawei, Asus and alot more, they make verypowerfull
Phone for 3 times low prices then iphone, i wish i can bring bases of this companies in uk, so everyone can aford the price and also enjoy the phones, I just want to say well Done Xiaomi keep it up, one advice only make sure that the front cameras are allways above 8mpx and high 100mbps 4g speed, i asure you, you'll be the first on the market.

Apple is being so jealous of this phone that may be preparing to go court because apple is not selling their phones on the base of competition of quality , specifications and ptice but on fantasy and blind fans. Finally people abandone apple and come to realize the main point. So xiaomi has great future.

Best phone in the world in terms of quality, specifications and price. Samsung is the best in its Super amoled display but still price is little bit more. Apple is the worst phone , quality and looking are good but specification is like mid range phone and the price is unnatural, I have heard I phone 5s primary cost , BOM, is just $199 very very less than galaxy s5 and even less than xiaomi.
