Xiaomi MI4 is a good phone if you are able to accept single sim usage. It is not a dual sim phone. Please NOTE THIS.
The camera takes very sharp photos and has a special feature of selective focus after taking the photos. That means you shoot and then select what you want to focus in the photo and save the photo. Night photos are good as compared to other brands. Using flash will change the original colours to paler side. To go to camera settings you cannot reach from camera screen. One good feature is that if you want to hurriedly start camera, you can do directly from home screen even on locked condition by just sliding the camera icon present on locked home screen.
Handset is very slippery and can slip out easily. The keyboard is problematic as the letters on extreme left are always typed wrong due to calibration issue.
Another issue is that you are not able to resend the unsent sms without copying and pasting message and then composing new message.
It does get hot on charging and using video playback.
Volume levels are very low and its a task to delete call history.
The design is just like apple phone and the screen is bright and sharp.
Speed is very good due to 3 GB RAM.
I have been using the 64 GB version for last 10 days. Performance and look wise it is good but there are few flaws in software for ease of operation.
Battery is very good. For my handset it lasts for two full days on moderate use.

Today I checked up with Airtel Call Centre about MI 4W (MI 4). In the 'settings' click the last one 'About Phone', it shows Model Number MI 4W. The Airtel Call Centre boys checked in his computer database and mentioned that this model, MI 4W, has RF Frequency 2300 MHz, and Airtel 4G works on 2300 MHz, hence, MI 4W is compatible for 4G. When I called MI 4 Call Centre, the boy at the Call Centre says, it is not compatible for 4G. The technical reply of Airtel Call Centre boy seems appropriate. But, it is the end user, can throw more light, whether it is actually compatible with 4G or not. I have recently purchased MI 4 phone for Rs.14,999/- on Flipkart. As such I am very happy with the performance. Also upgraded to 4G, which will be active by 15th July, 2015 midnight. Let us hope, 4G works in my new MI 4. Bye

Guys...I was laughing.. After watching some comments... Heating Issue...I am using this phone from April 2015..and I was very fond of changing phones...but after this phone...I did not change my phone..Really an awesome phone...everything runs very smoothly on this...screen quality is 5 out of 5...appreciated xiaomi.for selling this phone in a very good price...kudos to xiaomi

I had visited the mobile store in Mumbai to buy mi4i to my suprice this mobile with so much of hype was told by the shop salesman has heating issues n has been discontinued selling of these mobile this mobile so called the apple of china completely failed to rectify such minor faults in tn the mobile is shocking
