Mi4 is indeed fast phone, the heating issue is true but only when gaming (performance mode) and heavy load like browse the internet while thatering, else is just fine. I own Mi4 since Dec 2014, so far no problem just the battery life getting weaker since I often use Mi4 for intense gaming for about 2-3 hours.

it is an excellent phone...and yes it had the heat up issue which is caused due to the processor...and xiaomi has already given an update which moderates the frequency, taking care of the heating up issue.....if you still face the issue use a silicon cover...it does not affect the problem one bit...

The Xiaomi Mi4 with 64 GB doesn't.
It's a choice you have to make.
But what i heard is that the Xiaomi Mi5 is comming
So u can also wait for that one.
I just bought the Xiaomi with 64 GB with in mind that I will use my phone more with WiFi

Dear brother pleas listen to me Mi 4 is an absolutely a Diamond piece it can overtake Samsung in future it is not bad to compare this with apple 6 but the price of 64gb version should be lowers but this phone is a beauty

DONT COVER THE ORAN... morethis is to prevent from accidental operation while the device is inside bag or your pocket to enable or disable it go to settings > lock screen > prevent pocket dial
on more place go to settings > call settings > incoming call settings > prevent pocket dial

Hey Guys.. Need help!I have been researching for some weeks now but find myself in a dilemma. I wanted to buy this phone's 16GB variant from Flipkart (ofcourse) but then I read the reviews which describe it as if it were a fireball. Heating issues while charging are not an issue since I dont use phones while charging. Kindly advise me on what I should do. I love the specs of this phone but am confused. People say it heats beyond tolerance after 5-7 mins of voice calling.. Really? I am not an avid "gossipman" and my calls usually dont last more than 2-3 mins but ocassionally I do make some long calls as well (sometimes close to half an hour). PLZ HELP

Should I buy oneplus one or xiaomi mi4. Main features :
1. Durable, it should survive some drops and not susceptible to scratches easily
2. It should not get hot or less battery drain while playing heavy games
3. The sound quality from speakers should be loud
4. It should not hang or lag
5. Good camera quality (both front and back)
6. Simple and fast ui
7. Long battery backup
