Heyyo,
YES it is possible. There's an App on the "Mi Market App" for Google Play that you install. It'll automatically install the "Google Framework Service" and the Google Play store. ;)

hi friends, i have samsung galaxy grand and now i fed up with its hanging problem, so thinking to buy mi4 64 gb at cost of INR 24K, i m a gamer so planning for mi4.. But after reading heating battery problem i cant make decision of buying it, can anyone pls. tell me should i purhcase MI4 or not... PLS HELP ME

FYI, smartphones is like a computer or a laptop that even you log it off, the fact that the processor and the board is on the process, also it consume energy.. so if u want a phone that battery can last in 1 week.. try nokia 3315...lol

Don't purchase MI4 64GB handset because battery was very very poor, I was purchase handset on 3rd march 2015 from flifkart and charged fully 100 % and kept in standby without any use also not insert simcard,
Checked after 48 Hrs. battery was drain up to 98 % without any touch to handset so my request to all don't purchase this handset totally money wastage.

Best smartphone I've used so far, cant even compare to iPhone6 (from my friend) in terms of smoothness, of course customization and design, heats up a bit though, but so far so so so good. 95/100 for this Phone.
For those who have problem with Google Play Store, search for "Google Installer MIUI" the direct links (no survey, ads, side links, bugs) to the file is posted in the MIUI website threads, you better register with that site for more awesome content... Good Luck!
