I had done tutorial install Google apps step by step on Android Nougat following from en.miui.com, and the result, every time I open Gmail it said 'Gmail is having problem with Google services'.
So, I decided to sol Xiaomi Mi 4c and bought Vivo V5.

I should understand that Xiaomi has its own decision to make global rom or not, so.... now... if I would like to buy Xiaomi smartphone again, I would better choose global rom available Xiaomi model smartphones.

Really the best phone money can buy. Cheap, good build quality, 5inch 1080p display, 2/3 ram... You really can't find phone so cheap with snap 808 cpu. Just need to install mi4c charged mod(uses lg l4 thermal engine and prevents phone from throtling + it adds more power)

- In Android N official developer rom, I frequently didn't receive message on WhatsApp real time. I should open WhatsApp in order to receive message.
- Preinstalled keyboard is Sogou keyboard. Again, it is Chinese language also

+ It is cheap, very good specs
+ Has colorful color model choice
+ Camera is good, play game also good
+ Charging is very good, work fast
Minus
- I hate Chinese rom, some apps that populer in Indonesia need Google Play services work better
- No Play Store and Google apps thing in preinstalled
- Mi Store, Mi Live, and other Mi apps with Chinese language are useless, I didn't use those app
- Get Android N update was nice, but I also dislike to reinstall Google apps things, even I followed the instructions on en.miui.com forum, Gmail was having problem with Google Play services

AnonD-650187, 05 Mar 2017Hi. i want to buy this phone. tell me bads and goods. i wa... moreYou may not recive messages on viber r when screen is locked but you need to lock the viber app and thats it, very decent phone for the price but when you buy it you must check if it has official rom, my scoree 71k on antutu benchmark ( galaxy s6 scores 81k) battery gets around 4 hours of screen time, no lags no heating, the camera is average in night and excellent in day light... Can't get better phone for the price, if this phone was named samsung it will cost around 400 eur new for sure

Only with Sharp panel inside (seek for "rsp61322" in log by dump) . With AUO panel(seek for "nt35596" in log) contrast ratio drop for 4 times... This is checked with the calibrator.
Xiaomi install Sharp or AUO panel with same price, but with a different cost for components. It's is Xiaomi, guys...

I had tried Android N on Mi 4c. Nothing change, only the Android version changed. The problem appears on Google apps, like pop up Google Play service is stopped, google.com.apps...
I also did reinstall Google apps and follow the steps that I read on en.miui.com forum. Play Store worked well, Google account appeared in contact, but when I opened Gmail, it said Gmail is having problem with Google Play service.
Tired with this, I conclude Xiaomi with Chinese rom available only is not good to be bought for global users. Better choose global rom preinstalled Xiaomi or other brand.
