The other disadvantages of Mi 4c I found after use it for a month:
1. GPS location frequently need time to work properly (sometimes won't work for a while, need think from user to handle it fist in oder to be work). I guess this is because the Chinese rom (firmware)
2. If edge control back is activated, when typing using Google Keyboard, it sometimes the virtual keyboard will close by itself. The edge control back itself is too sensitive.

                        Don't buy this device even it's cheap af, this crap overheats everytime I use it (no, I don't use it for gaming, only for surfing internet).

                            which i think the problem is not on the ROM but the phone.. :)
                            ROMS i have tried:
                            1. ROM from out of the box (they call it tampered because it says it is global but mi4c doesnt have global rom)
                            2. China Stable
                            3. China Developer
                            4. MIUI EU ( which i think can be called as GLOBAL because this has no chinese apps)

                              bought this phone online about 4days ago. I'm having problems with lags and freezing I don't know probably because of the pre-installed bloatwares. also the photo editor seems to be working. after you click on a photo and choose to edit it the screen flashes and goes back to the gallery instead of taking you to the editing mode. Anyone around who has the same problem or can help??

The moderator of MIUI forum had told me that Mi 4c is released for not global market, so the firmware available was only for Chinese.

                                  But I am OK now. I did factory reset, all Google things gone, and I reinstall Google Installer apk and one by one install Google framework services, Google account manager, Google Play Store, Google services.

                                        Yes MIUI 8 v 8.0.4 give better looking and fresh UI but has problem on Google. Google Play Store error (authentification is required. You need to sign in to Google account), WhatsApp didn't show contact name, contacs no show Google account contacts. Gmail stuck syncing. I did clear data on Google Play Store, reinstall, remove Google account, no help. So, I did factory reset. In fact, Play Store is gone, Gmail is gone.

                                        I should reinstall Google Installer v2 apk, install them again one by one, such as Google framework services, Play Store, Google services, Google account manager. Yes, after struggling to get rid of these things, finally my phone works fine again with Google account.

                                        I conclude that, this Xiaomi Mi 4c is good for the spec and low price in Indonesia region but also makes trouble for users too, because they could eliminate Google accounts and Play Store, so consumers should struggle themselves to reinstall them again, try more efforts to make their phone connected to Google things again.
