Mi 4i is awesome.
Just normal heating
Display is superb
Camera quality is good
Sometimes lags while multi tasking in balance mode
Sound quality is average... In headphone it is superb
Build quality is superb
Battery backup is not good enough.
Mi4i needs to improve for last long battery back
Overall Under 13k is worth for money

Hello
I ordered and paid full amount on line on mi .com.in site for this Phone (mi 4i) on 7th July but till today i e 27th July they have not shipped it to me. I contacted customer care several times but they are just assuring that it will be shipped soon please keep patience. what should I do ?

Mi 4i is an excellent phone in every thing except for the Audio.
Audio volume is quite low and GSMarena's assessment in audio section is correct. this one factor is keeping me from buying this phone.
If , only Xiaomi give some thought to this aspect in their future mobile phones, they are going to sway the market in their favour.

Guys do upgrade to MIU 6.6.6. It is amazing. I online my xiaomi from 8am. And at 8pm, the battery still 36%. Huge improvement of batterlife.
However, please avoid performance mode. If u want play game, please still choose balance mode. U can help your balance mode with game booster at google play store, made by Ignis America. It super effective.

never buy ths phone..it lags like a hell and heats like a oven. the radiation n this china phone s too high and causes drowsiness. its almost waste of money and moto e performs better than this phone.the only gud thing in ths phone s camera s somewhat better.battery backup s also not gud for 3000mah and performs lik 2000mah

MIUI 6.6.6 (new update) mostly solves battery draining issue of MIUI 6.6.5 (last major update). MIUI team will surely come with more advanced updates in future.
For comparison :
Lenovo K3 note / similar priced products got price advantage against Mi4i. But Mi4i got slight advantage in following departments :
It gives small size phone with 5" display, heavy battery, good looks and easy to use with 1 hand.
Quality is long lasting and gives premium feeling.
If price really matters then choose redmi 2 (half price of Mi4i)

I have ordered mi4i on 18th july from snapdeal and got it on 26th of july.. now i want to give a short review for your help..
Many people complaining that it has over heating issue and fast drain problem.. I wang to tellyou about this that it is totally false.. I am continiously using it with wifi on since it is delivered to me.. No overheating... Just normal heating
Disply is superb
Camera is very good but not amazing
Battery back up is superb
Sometimes lags while multasking in balance mode
Sound is good... In headphone it is superb
Build quality is superb
Ultimately it is a excellent phone for rs12999

2-go to advanced settings in wifi and switch on wifi on only during plug-in..
3-reduce the "sleep after"timing to 30 secs..
4-charge the mobile completely from next time..

for 13k Phone u can not expect everything will be best in all
and battery drain issue and heating issue reduced in latest updates
camera front & back day is ok but night time so so
u can not expect like SLR or cybershot
