The specs say 'Fast battery charging 40% in 60 minutes'
But that only works out at 1.2ah while real fast charge phones are at least twice as fast.

viji, 11 Jun 2015iam going to buy mi4i is it good phoneThe worst phone I have ever bought.
Request for return rejected twice by #flipkart.com without any solid base/reason.
Problems:
1.heats upto 48 degrees centigrade in just 5 mins of voice calling. And heats up in 10 mins beyond comfort level. U can't keep it in hands without making use of a napkin or cloth to remove sweat.
2.front camera gives too grainy images.so grainy that you can't even see the subject.
3.automatic brightness control doesn't work and prevent pocket dial feature doesnot work either.
4. Hangs too frequently may be because of the heating issue only.
5. As per flipkart(rep name-anwar),xiaomi says that temp upto 50 deg is NORMAL. If it goes beyond that then only a piece is eligible for replacement.
6. Flipkart also says that battery backup of 8-10 hours is absolutely fine for any smartphone and because I am getting battery backup of about 12 -14 hours on full charge in 2g network,I can't go for replacement.
I trusted flipkart for the first time for buying a mobile phone from them and I swear,after this experience I WILL never buy any electronic good from them.
I Received the phone on 6 June 2015 and placed my first request for return on 8 June 2015 and third request yesterday ie 11 Jun 2015

ringer value is very low.
even if we put in full volume again after some time it comes to min volume.

I have brought this phone about 1 month ago.I'm not impressed with it's quality. I have been facing some issues with this handset recently.
1)Sometime it's rear mobile camera does not fuction properly.It slow down while taking photoes.It sometime stop working also.
2)There are 2 SIM slot in this phone.2nd SIM card slot is not working at all.When I put two sim, it recongnize seconnd sim card for a moment then a message pop up on the screen "sim card removed".I have tried many time to reboot and power off and on the moblie but every time issue remain the same.
3)I generally use some apps like facebook/lync/linkedin in the moblie. These all apps suddenly stops working in between the running.
So my overall experience say this mobile does not lived upto it's reputation. I would suggest not to purchase this mobile.

I have requested a return of this device. But flipkart people are delaying the process and rejecting the return request. I will wait for few days before approaching a consumer court.

I has no memory card slot and there is heating issue in this handset Remaining fetures are best...

The camera of this phone performs well below average . I already own a redmi 1s whose camera is far superior. This difference is evident on laptop. The colours are washed out . so those who want better camera stay with redmi don't go for this crap. Even the picture size in MB is half that of redmi 1s.

After updating to version 6.5.6.0, the Antutu Benchmark drop to around 22.000 (Balance and Performance). But the device run smoothly.

Hi.
Is normal, during the call, when i leave the phone from my ear the display keep off? in another phones when leave ear during the call, the display back on...

Please dont buy am mi4i . I got it on 1st june and am in process of returning it.I purchased redmi 1s before this and i am still a xiaomi fan . the camera quality of redmi 1s is far better than this crap. it looks very good on display of phone but once you transfer images to laptop they are far inferior to redmi 1s which is just 8mp. the size of images is lesser and color washed out. so if you need camera please dont go for it stay with redmi which is cheaper with better camera than tis crap.Contact me on aejazahsan@gmail.com

I was going to buy this phone but in this month of june BQ is going to release the Aquaris M5, that tis almos equal but with european guarantee and SD slot... and I think the price is gonna be the same so...

Using my set last 3 days. Today, my front camera is not working well. i.e., after 10-15 second my front camera's sharpness increase very badly. :-(
Is any one is also facing this problem.
How to solve this problem. Plz help me.....

I am using this phone for a week,i've no problem at al, good for gaming, good for video,music,no heating problem, i dont think any problem about this phone. I am satisfied for having this phone.
