The phone is good.. But it does not come with earphones. Also no option to expand memory is a setback too....

Better specs, larger display and say more expensive but only around $30 to $50 worth the price. I own the mi4i but 2gb ram really not good enough for now.

addy, 19 Mar 2016I want to purchase mi 4i phone but that internal storage I ... more32 GB if u going to install few high quality games which need 1 -2GB data in OBB. u can use 16 GB if u always clean up the space like deleting games/ apps when u no longer use them. I get 32 GB not only for installing games and also storing offline maps data.

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2016I play asphalt 8 a lot. It gets warm but no issues with camera.Performance mode on or off? Dunno mine is very hot.. My camera maybe brick because overheat or " miui developer ver" , i remember got brick after using developer version

I am a user xiaomi mi4i and I also got a defected piece because I do got the similar issues you had.so it will be better for you to contact your seller and exchange your device..
because it is one of the smoothest phone I ever used..
