Guys, its best if you buy the mi4i from the mi.com website for your country. It will be guaranteed original and not some fake version when you buy from some other shop ( sometimes).

whn I update d software I face some problems like words are automatically type heating n automatically restart

really good phone. awesome display, awesome hardware, plus itll definitely go on to get huge community support from xda... so software department rocks too.
The thing that i like most is how light it is... unlike many others with similar specs that r elephants to carry

Talking about its performance its too bad as compared to other low price mobile product company(Micromax,Xolo or Lava).
Another problem its lag too much while gaming s compared to any other phone.
Only flagship feature that i have seen in this phone is it's Camera quality. It takes amazing clicks even in the low light and ask its beautify features are working great.
Coustomer care is live hell on earth. Please go there if you want to see hell as alive.
So overall i don't really recommend you this phone rather i would ask you to add some savings and go for iPhone 5s they are giving it in 24k now.
And if you don't have that much of budget go for motor g3 at least you will feel the brand quality in it.

is this your first phone?
please use other phones with a cpu speed of above 1.7ghz and use it for 30minutes GPS apps which require longer screen time, compare this with Mi4i then you will see the difference.

AnonD-475034, 11 Dec 2015update your miui to miui 7 helo, im using 7.0.3 global stable version and its still lagg and overheating. its a hardware issue snapdragon 615. its not a myth. stay away from any phone with snapdragon 615 cpu.
phone heat is ok.
overheat is not!!

it is true that this phones lags during gaming, but going online seems fine
other than that the audio is not bad and there is not much problems ,= hope to help anyone

I am owning this phone from last one month, and have mixed reviews.
Pros: Display is good, Camera is good in this price IMO.
Cons: Very poor Audio quality from Speaker, Performance is not great, the phone lags while gaming, and is generally slow even after Latest update. Heating problem, the phone gets warm even after latest update. I am unable to get the Data connection most of the time(90%). its really slow. apps do not download images fast enough even on WiFi. Looks like the Update killed its Hardware power.
hope it helps you to take a better decision.

Its good phone but its time for something new xiomi is trying to sell all outdated stock in india and lounching new redmi note,note2,and note3 i china

had this phone for almost a month now. Phone is working flawlessly and the camera is outstanding. Very fast autofocus. However, I noticed recently that when I tap the phone at the back, there's a small clicking sound. You can also hear it when you shake the phone. Try listening to it in a quiet room. Is this normal? I haven't dropped or mishandled my phone.
