AnonD-527339, 18 Apr 2016Go for A5(2016). I have experience of using Samsung mobiles 2 years back. 1 year the mobile will be working without any problem but then after 1 year the mobile will start hanging and will face issues.
I'm not sure about latest mobiles

Here is my summary of Mi5 after one week of intense use as my only phone
Pros:
Excellent display
Excellent sunlight legibility
Simply beautiful phone (You have to hold this to feel).
Works super fast thanks to QC 820SD.
Immediate connectivity after flight mode.
(I had issues with iPhone 5s earlier until I restart sometimes)
Right size for reading and browsing.
Excellent ergonomics, very light and fits easily in pocket.
Fast and responsive GPS.
Some will like Easy to use MIUI interface.
Cons :
Fast charging is not really fast. You need 90-100 mins from 0 to 100.
Battery is average. Will run out after 6pm heavy use but anyways you need PB or charger for all phones now.
Very slippery back, you have to use a case which does not do any justice to this beautiful device.
Heating draws your attention and drains battery fast bit not a deal breaker.
Android MM is simply not to be seen as MIUI is so prominent.
Teething problems remain for some app crash. In my case just one game Can knock down.
But the biggest issue is camera. Performance is like 13MP and not 16. Detailing gets grainy beyond 10 Mtrs.auto focus is slow. Overall well above average but not like flagship.
My recommendation you will love the ergonomics and will not regret even at 25K.

I'm facing issues with battery life and heat. With all wireless connections turned off, it looses a great deal of charge in a very short span and gets uncomfortably hot. I will definitely be contacting customer service soon.

The software is very bad. Hardware is very good. What matters in the end is you should have a phone that can be used.

I bought mi5 from their official site in India. They are not providing money back. They only service the phone if it has any issues even put of the box.
Mine happens to come with their usual software issues. The phone lost 30% charge overnight without data of wifi being enabled.
My first attempt at talking a photo also was failure as the camera was not focusing at all. After few wrong captures, the camera hung.
Pros:
My opinion about the phone is
It looks excellent
Got good hardware
Reasonable price
Cons:
Crappy software as usual.
Buy it at your own risk if you have time to frequent to service centre.
Since it doesn't have external memory slot, as and when you have to reset the phone, your entire data is at risk of deletion.
