I am using mi5 since a week.
Best build quality.
Amazing display.
Aowsome selfi and back camera.
Light weight.
Miui is best.
Superfast fingerprint scanner.
No heating issues.
Superfast charging.
Only con is battery life. Last for a day.
We cant use any other charger.

Mi5's phones are heating to 45-47C ... morethose may be test variants or purchased from china. i have bought it here in india and say that it gets hot during charging because it uses fast charging and all phones (even iphone) get hot when payed games for more than 30 mins.

One thing I notice about Xiaomi is how their product is marketed based on hype, since that's the only thing they can do to "advertise" their products. Some gullible users will say Xiaomi's phone the best due to weekly updates, without even realizing that those updates are needed because they keep trying to fix bugs (and breaks others). A fully stable phone DO NOT need weekly updates continously. Xiaomi's phones are always released with half-bake software, as pointed out by almost all reviewers.
The irony is that these weekly updates are often misunderstood as a sign of a great phone.

Ca... moreThey absolutely do pull wool on customers eyes, this is an arrangement between the online seller and the manufacturer to lure poor customet, to create a hype, and to charge exhorbitant prices which otherwise are not anywhere near sane ones. A genuine seller never hides himself. All such chinese phones, which are poor in quality hardware wise, have gone this conspicuosly cheaters way to sell thier stuff in underhand way. You dont get to see what you are buying. Why dont they come in to open a shop like a geuine brand in your country, is anybody,s guess.
