On 31st march 2016. Xiaomi's most awaited smartphome mi 5 is coming to India. M very excited and I want to purchase that 64gb variant.
And those who are confused b/w This beast and othr smartphone, just 1suggestion for all of'em. Go for Xiaomi Mi 5.

Performance wise there is throttling in IPhone . I have replaced one iPhone 6s plus and also not satisfied with replacement. So waiting for mi 5 to be launched in India. And I like most in the phone is the gaming performance.

Camera quality is good at this price . And you get sd 820 at this price which is very good thing. If you will buy this phone at this price , you will be satisfied. I have just sold my iPhone 6s plus because I was not satisfied with it. So personal satisfaction is must needed.

Once more I've to post for those who are saying that mi 5 is not a "value for money smartphone".
As I am also waiting for the most avaited smartphone since last year, I've read all the reviews from those who use this smartphone or hand-on it.
1st thing is that the camera is awesome. As for the low light condition, the reviews show that the quality of photos are gud, selfies taken in low light cnditions are way better than any other smartphone under this price range.
It deserve our money and for those who prefres sansung smartphone let me tell you this, the smartphone with most hanging problem i've seen is samsung.
As for mi 5, the camera quality is damn gud, touch is fab. Nd fingerprint sensor is faster than any samsung flagship.
I am going to purchase this smartphone. M Happy coz mi 5 is coming soon in India. :-)

After a looooooong waiting then decided back to Samsul (read: Samsung) for all the features and quality.
This second layer brand just need to improve much more for cost gap between galaxy s6 or note5 (second hand, but not counterfeit), when they are selling camera wise quality then what type should I compare? Off course galaxy S7 or iphone 6.at such price even galaxy A5 can beat it.
Just my 2 cents.

Ali, 13 Mar 2016why you are not opening your store in Pakistan or UAE? B'coz most of the top seller believe that india is the bigest market after china, for release in pakistan u have to wait atleast 1 year for mi5 or u can buy second hand piece after 6 month on eBay pakistan on premium price.

Does it work with AT&T 4G LTE network? I checked the LTE bands and it doesn't seem to work with AT&T 4G LTE network. Please be advised.

UI is too chinese. If was a bit like nexua or like oxygen os like oneplus would've been better. No app drawer makes it worse. Same with huawei phones.

Then you must read the review from GSMArena, they review the phone in depth. All the key aspects are excellent (positive). They have it on hands. I trust this review than (almost) all other haters/trollers out there. I believe Mi 5 is one of the best flagship smartphones in 2016, and if the pricing counted, simply is the BEST.

Most people are crazy with Mi5 because many of them are sold by the specs on paper, but if you look at the camera samples, the OIS, the night shots, the frame drops in video recording, the noise level esp in low-light, among many other things, like the old camera API being used by the camera apps (from android 4.1), the lack of manual control, etc....then you know why it's cheap.
I have been waiting for Mi5 for 6 months, also sold by the paper specs, but then after seeing all these problems, the cheap price is becoming less and less atractive.
