costum rom is always the answer.
I used CynogenMod on my xperia because I don't like stock one
just pray it'll be easier to unlock bootloader

only thing i do care is who offers me more powerful hardware and most of the features in lowest price. xiaomi i guess.

I am not sure if MI 5 will not have the OS problem such as "Google Service stop working". We keep getting such messages even clearing all caches, data/format it and re-install it. They can't fix this. Also, one of the biggest draw back is, all Mi Phone till today doesn't have video call features... even most of the video calling apps doesn't work proper on the phone.

MI 5 is maybe much a like S7 but there specification is different and besides that would be the user's choice he would like to use a phone from mi or samsung the important thing is u can use it as way you want it to :)

May I remind you that it also have dual flash and it cost twice as much. Lg g5 have dual camera but I don't see it competing with S7 in term of quality. Mi5 may not be the best of the best but it's comparable ti the phone that have twice it's price. If money is no problem for you then S7 is definitely be the best phone out there. Why bother with this "Cheapo" phone. Lol

The pro is better than this although it looks somewhat like samsung s6 which which is the home key and the side 3d bezel.

If only they'd change the chinese UI and use a bit natural UI like one plus did, this phone would've been great. But the software part is still too much "Chinese".

If size would hav been 5.5 ..it would have been great and battery non removable but many other might hav der opnion abt it...seen frm youtube camera is not great in night scenario.. But its not dslr its just mobile

Do you think apple or samsung never copy the design/hardware/OS from others? They did and always do. However, each OEM must have at least their own characteristics or something new to offer. Many people (or troller/hater?) say Mi 5 copy samsung Note 5 curved back design which in fact the other way round. Mi 5 desgn mostly is an upgrade from Mi 4 and Mi Note series (that Samsung might got the idea of curved back design from).

But the ceramic back might be different though, Xiaomi says like its ceramic is not easy too make, and have the toughness/hardness twice that of sapphire. Looks so premium for me.
