Admit it, slipping out the back cover then swapping the battery is INFINITELY quicker and convenient. That's it.
However, there is always that 'Unofficial' support shops in every corner of your city. So, it's not like the end of the world.
This is just a way of charging people who aren't having the time nor the talent to perform a surgery on their phone.
iPhone is an invalid comparison. Even though they are doing the same, not all batteries were created equal.

iphone battery technology is different and it is highly reliable and long lasting. Nobody other phones have their technology.
So Non-removable battery means "People are forced to give mobile to its own shop for replacing battery. So nice idea to make money and their existence". Thats all...
Its difficult to unscrew and replace battery our own for this kind of mobile, coz the screw head is different.
Think !!! battery's are available in market at normal price and every one know to replace. why these guys made such a design and made the battery inside the case??

I think we are confusing the Xiaomi MiNote (5.7" screen) with the,yet unannounced, Xiaomi Mi5. Xiaomi announced the MiNote and MiNote Pro in January 2015 but they said nothing about the Mi5.
