I bought the Xiaomi Mi 5 and it seemed great. Within 6 months it packed up completely. I sent it back four months ago and I now believe thata I'm wasting my time expecting them to honour the guarantee. How can I get it enforcedin China?

Bought Mi5 from N... morei think you have a defective phone. my phone brought in February. 6 months gone. no much issue still. battery is average not super. phone is not so strong. need extra care.updades are not available. but i like it really.

It has been my (only and) daily phone for over one year. Installed european ROM and it has been a real joy! No issues whatsoever. Very fast device, and all tasks performed without any flaws. I absolutely love this phone, and I am not willing to replace it.

Ali, 20 Aug 2017Everthing is amazing except audio output is low I have the identical issue with my phone , it wont respond to touch when waking up , and has ghost touch issues when using in bright light, it is in my opinion a hardware issue you should try to get your money back.
To test that it is a hardware issue try pressing on the usb port area when the touch does not respond and see if it helps , i sent mine back and requested a refund as i need my phone to be reliable and not do this kind of stuff when i need it the most so i will go for a more reliable model/brand even if i have to sacrifice features.

it is a completely total wastage of money. the funniest thing happens that it starts giving Display problems starts just after completing the warranty period.A very bad experience. However the phone may have some good features but durability is very poor. When I took it to service center many other persons found having this same issue on other MI brands also. Durability of phone is also a key factor while purchasing and can't be ignored. Whereas LAVA has also same features and is very durable because I have also used it and have purchased for my wife. My suggestion is not to purchase this phone.
