I am constantly changing phones but this one may stay with me for a while!
The feel of it is amazing and everything just works well.
Mine has the English International ROM and I have added the Google Now launcher from the Play Store, easy.
I would say go for it if you asked me :)

Audio jack problem on mi5 i have compared mi5 with redmi note3.redmi note3 produces much better sound than mi5

Guys im wondering many complaints about the build quality of home button of mi5, is it that bad?? In terms of camera which is better op3t, honor 8, or mi5? Overall build quality is it a let down?

I used many flagship phones HTC, Sony, Samsung, LG and iPhones, but mi5 is the best I ever used. The screen is simply excellent, camera perfect, feel in the hand is pieces of jewelry, performance is outstanding and at half the price of the flagships in the market. Highly recommended.

Pebu, 31 Mar 2017Just now sold the phone for half of the price. Overheating ... moreI don't think so, my phone only heated up to 45°c on heavy gaming graphics. It still consider as normal temperature. Overheated If cpu reached 50°c and it can damage the chip board.

Here's my opinion after 1 month using mi5 3gb ram/64gb model
Pros :
*best price for flagship smartphone ever
*great performance on gaming and multi tasking
*antutu score 135k
*nice design & light weight
*great screen with dense pixel
*superb daylight camera quality with stabilisation (anti shake features)
*good battery performance with fast charging, charging time takes 1 hour from 10% to 100%
*corning gorilla glass 4 front and back, I don't really need to use temper glass, this screen are quite strong scratch proof
Cons :
*video recording quality can be better
*average speaker quality
*low light camera quality a bit noise
*slippery and fingerprint on back (it doesn't really matter if u wear case)
*thick lcd bezel on left & right side (if u feel this annoying please choose the black color or wear protection case)
*phone can get warm but it's not really overheated, the highest temperature I recorded using app are 45°c (but if u wear protection case u will never notice it)
Overall score 9/10, price performance flagship, beautiful design & smooth performance :)

Just now sold the phone for half of the price. Overheating is the main issue due the phone is not worth for Rs 20k .So go for samsung r sony.

I own an s7 and mi 5. I can say the only difference you can fel is with the cameras, back cam of s7 is more superior but front cam of mi 5 for me is more superior compared to the front of s7. Battery sot I am getting 4:30 to 5:20hrs on me 5 20-24hrs runtime. While on my s7 I am gettimg 5-6hrs in a 24-30hrs runtime. Ihave the 64Gb version of mi5 and its really good, got it for 220$, no regrets, its a better choice than the oneplus 3/3T which is @450$

It's a very good phone. It has a very nice camera, audio output and charging speed is terrific. The images aren't grainy and audio is loud and clear. Worth every cent you pay for it. With regard to the screen protection, it's just a matter of how well you take care of your things. ;)
