One of the best smartphones i've ever had. Installed clean Android 10 Pixel Experience ROM and replaced the battery, it feels like a brand new phone.

still using Xiaomi Mi 5 Prime version from 2017
been using it over 3 years and only problem is battery , i need charge it 3-4 time per day but charging still work fast lol.
it takes amazing pics even better than some mobiles from 2020
hoping to buy new one soon, Xiaomi :)

I brought this phone in 2016 Oct and i must have the only person using it for so long. i love this phone and have not faced any sort of problem..am still holding on to the phone because of its weight and sleek design...

My best phone ever...
Purchased in 2017 battery is yet OK, full day is covered.
Display feed the age and ghost of previous screen are sometime visible overall when I use for a lot of time with Google Maps navigator.
Never a scretch, Gorilla Glass is fantastic and I put it in pocket with keys, usb mem, etc.
Fast as first day !
MIUI stopped to update, unfortunately, but 10.2.2.0 is very very stable and rarely phone reset.

3years and 2months old now. Always used with a back cover and a tempered glass as a secondary phone for camera and internet. Therefore it dosnt have even a scratch.still brandnew look.pure white and sexy look. i will hope to use it another 2 years.

I love mi5 ..
Superubb camera. Nice battery backup.and front camera mindblowing.display quality is Superubb.
Light weight.
I give 10 out of 10 ..
In 2016 flashgship phone.

in pixel exprience everything is good, ir blaster works fine, don't know about the 4k recording tho but that should work too
