I using it since 1 month.I was afraid about the device.Because I was a Samsung user.Now I think it was my best decision.No problem at all.Superbly smooth and great performance by Snapdragon 820.camera is exceptionally good .love the themes.Battery life is also good.90℅ in just 30 minutes and last 1 and half day of normal use .I just love the phone.Thanks and enjoy the beast.

I bought this 2 days ago. Heating is mild. I mean gaming with wifi on heats upto 37-43 battery and other parts upto 45. Is it normal? MIUI 8.0 Global Stable. Need answers quickly coz I have left 5 days of replacement offer.

I wonder why is too many hater here wkwkwkwk they dont ever use mi 5 but campaign again mi 5. I'm a tester, I tell you in mi 5 price range, no phone can compete with mi 5! What they will campaign? Break in 2 pieces? LOL, you perform JerryRig in your home? lol. I've tested mi 5 and own it too so lets tell a truth! I'm not xiaomi fans and mi 5 is my first xiaomi phone. Be hater is bad for mental healthy.
I have S7, XZ, mi5 and i dont have any regret!

Friends MI is not a strong piece. it has no hard metal frame. it is easily breakable. keep it safe like a baby.

Today i got the official global stable update 8.1.4.0 around 75 MB. Anyone got android 7.0 nougat update?

my phone running on miui 7...i bought the phone just before 10 days ago.initially for first 4 days battery give 4.40 to 5.30 hrs screen on time....i suddenly dropped the phone after that my phone battery backup is not good....it just gives 3 hrs screen on time.....is felting down damaged the battery....please tell me guys.......

This phone is rocking now as it's price has fallen to raise the sales of Mi5s and Mi5s plus. And no other device can compete with it at this price range. I am now very much happy with it. The only thing I am unhappy about it is this phone is very much common now.

compared between mi5 and note 4 snapdragon version, which is better in terms of battery consumption and heating issues

I exchanged my mi5 for 2 times at the store bcoz the first one the back button didn't work (miui 8 in the box) and the second one I got miui 7 but the rear camera didn't work after i took a pic and the result was just the rainbow pic. So I changed the brand, I didn't want to exchange it for the 3rd times.

I had to exchange my mi5 for 2 times when I just bought it from the store until I changed to Samsung galaxy j7 prime eventually. The first problem was back button didn't work (miui 8), the second one was the rear camera didn't work after i took a pic for the first time (miui 7).
But until now I can't move on from mi5. I still want it, just too afraid that I will get the bad product like before.
