is okay with 4 MP secondary camera?
because a lot of smartphone now use 5 MP secondary camera

Official global stable rom Version is x.x.x.x and the lousy other one is x.x.x.x.x, try googling to flash ur phone to global stable rom version.
I think this is the main reason people getting bad experience using mi5, lousy distributor rom.

Using this phone for a week, its just beyond, way beyond expectation. Performance is perfect, battery life great, camera is doing well, speaker just good. For those who complain about software problem , try checking ur software Version is it global stable official version or local distributor version (wich is not official rom from xiaomi). Official stable version must be x.x.x.x Four digits number, and the other hand, distributor rom has five digits number x.x.x.x.x or the easiest way, try to update via ota, distributor version wont update ota via updater.
Once u install the official global stable rom version, lets see if u still have Complain for this device.

obviously the mi5 it has btr hardware and i dont think the s5 has fingerprint sensor

i used 3 month,please miui 8 latest version install and you see the difference.Mi5 is just awsome mobile,performance totally fantastic and batery backup also very good.. I love It..
